  1. They received my petition on August 7th, transferred to potomac 11/10, still zero updates.

When i call to talk to a T2 officer they give me a snarky reply "yeah its still processing"

If they start approving October cases before i get noa2, I feel like it will be more worth it to submit the copy i have of our packet and root for csc or another servicing center to approve me before my potomac one gets approved hah

OMG, I am sorry to hear. It is frustrating am sure! I hope you get a notice soon. I would also recommend that you contact your local representative and tell them the situation and they can help you contact INS and see where things are and why it may be taking longer than 5 month processing time.

Even though my case has not been 4 months, I've gone ahead and asked my local representative to help and I just signed a privacy release form and they went ahead and have contacted also for me.

Keep contacting and also file a online inquiry. Do everything and anything so they can flag your case. I heard an attorney tell me sometimes they just allow the case to remain there and do not even bother looking at it until they feel like it.

I hope you get an approval soon.

  2. A lot of us are pushing 5 months now, they say average processing time is 5 months. Some members here on this forum got approved before that and also some are in their sixth month. There is no rule, each case is different. Good luck :)

I've gone through this process before but it never was so hard. I brought my brother in law and sister in law less than 9 months. I also had gotten approval letters with like two months of processing the case but now that my case has been transferred I have no clue what's going on or what long and or if I'll ever get an approval. I just hope I don't have to be without my husband for a year or longer. I've done everything correctly and submitted my marriage license and all other evidence needed. Thank you and I hope everyone else gets their approvals! it's just hard not having any questions answered by anyone and not knowing anything about this new service center.
