Hi all,
I need to fill in an i-9 form in the next week or so but am getting a little stuck on documentation. It doesn't seem like they accept the certificate of naturalization as a valid form of identification for the i-9 and due to the pandemic I don't have a US passport yet.
The nearest passport appointments within 60 miles are a month out. My social security still needs the restrictions removed and all offices are closed so that could only be done by mailing my original documents.
This leaves me with no documents from list A as I don't have a green card anymore, I can use my drivers license for list B but then you need a list C document and my social doesn't count with the 'valid for work only with DHS authorization'.
Has anyone else run into this or does anyone have any advice? The company I'm working with is having a hard time understanding I am a US citizen with the same rights as any other and not a resident anymore so I'm not sure how much help they'll be

Card approved and received! Was a LIN case that they received on 5/8/19. Had biometrics done 10/23/19 and was approved with no interview 4/2/20 (was previously interviewed for AOS). Card arrived in the post on the 10th ^-^

Congrats! When did you have your biometrics appointment? I had mine December 1st week. It might be a factor too.
Biometrics was on the 16th of November so just a little before yours.

Congrats!!! Can I ask you - what boxes were checked on your form for what to bring to the interview (I posted mine above for reference)
The top three were checked for me. Need to bring passport, I-94, spouse and evidence of marriage and shared life. They must already have my medical details from the K1.

Just got the letter with our interview date for June 7th! Filed October so hopefully others will hear soon too

I'm waiting on my AOS in Denver. Little bit frustrating as I can't get a drivers license or work and according to timeline data the EAD and AP should have come by now. Called USCIS last week and got an inquiry number but not heard anything since. Thinking of calling them again.

Our K1 case now has a number and is on it's way to London but I'd like to keep my timeline up to date and have no idea where to find the date it reached the NVC in order to do so. I have the date the number was assigned.
Thanks

Hello everyone!
I'm Zoe, currently in the UK.
We've just sent off the I-129F and I can already tell VisaJourney is going to be extremely helpful. All the posts I have read so far have really helped to clarify the process and the timelines.
I'm finishing my undergraduate degree while we apply for the visa (graduate in July) so having something to follow and rough ideas of dates takes some of the stress off Hoping to get married in September but we'll see how it goes.
You seem like a very supportive community to be a part of. If we need any help with part of the process I'll be sure to post

Thank you so much! They really hide it way down at the bottom and I could only find information that it had been removed from list A when googling. I'm just glad they can accept it
