I have filled out DS-230 part 1 and signed and dated it.

I have filled out 2 copies of DS-156, not signed it, and not attached or sent any photographs.

I have filled out DS-157.

Is that it? Have I cracked the secret code??

I'm going to pop into work and type up a cover letter and get some extra copies of these (just incase & I'll check to see if anyone here says yes go ahead post or whoooo stop. Then I post them recorded, & damn Bank Holidays delaying my progress. Even one extra day still hurts after 6 months of this

that jjhjhjh typed in the middle of the line is just like someone leant on a few keys (they're next to each other) then printed the sheets out. They also scibbled out K1, K2 and then handwrote K3 in the corner of mine and a few more scrawls... How much are we paying. Just had the UK news on the TV and I can't believe this one.

Two guys dresses in thick warm clothes, talking a "strange" language, trying to get on a plane to the UK are taken away, questioned and not allowed to board. They were just warmly dressed men and released.

These idiotic terrified holiday makers inform security of their fears of these men!! The one holiday maker interviewed said ( I paraphrase) - everybody else was in shorts and flip flops and spoke English so they did appeared suspicious???

It is pretty cold and raining today in England and the "strange language talkers" are only in sensible clothes for this weather....

As a student of American history with an emphasis on American Indian history, I don't remember the Blackfoot, Sioux, Shoshone, Cherokee, or any of the other nations blowing themselves up and maybe taking 2 or 3 people with them. While the whites did horrible things to them (small pox laden blankets, anyone?), the various tribes fought with honour. I don't recall ever reading about a suicide Apache attack.

I thought I would post my question in here as it is the same heading - I have my police check letter dated 24 april 2006 and I understand it is valid for a year. Now my current situation I havent sent pack 3 back yet - hopefully that will be done next week, if I get an interview say september/october sometime - should I get a new police record before I fly out to america? I can show the current one at the interview as it would be valid.. Is this needed for the AOS? if so i may not have an AOS interview before April 2007. Any suggestions??

I got mine April too and was panicking it was only valid 6 months? Hopefully an interview for sept or oct and I don't wanna balls this up.

Can anyone double or triple confirm the validity length of the police check certificate please??

I was trying to get my vaccination record from my doctors / local health authority a while back for the Med Exam in London, and was told all records pre 1980 (mine) have been destroyed, being before the dawn of the computer. I did try a few other places for these kind of records but got the same answer - Paper records have all gone.

I have received MMR and Polio and whatever!! else at school in the 1970's. Now will this be a problem for me at the Medical examination? Not having the proof??

What have other pre 1980's Med Record VJer's gone through??

P.S. I do have that funny lump on the top of my left arm though ....is that proof enough !!....
