Maybe I was mistaken and looked at it in reverse of who was posting the petioner or the applicant.
If it was indeed school transcripts and resume then yes they are digging deeper into you and what you do.
Once agian they check for three things in this visa.
1. A real realtionship (no fraud).
2. Enough income to support.
3. Security.
Things they ask for can be for any one of these things.

Well, i am an engineer and a good one, I stated that clearly on my DS-260 and if that was the case, then why go through the trouble of having a financial sponsor since the immigrant can not be eligible for financial aid or stuff like that until he/she becomes a citizen.
Props on being an engineer that always sounds cool when someone says that.
It could be possible they just wanna be sure. Maybe something was hard to read or it ripped.
We brought the transcripts (and everything I ever sent to the usisc and NVC) to the interview and they took the ones we brought and the ones I sent in.
I really think sometimes they need more.
Im assuming they already had your tax transcripts from before when you sent it to the NVC?

Yeah. "My resume" and "my transcripts" were mentioned on the white 221g slip. I don't know how this concerns my relationship with my wife. I submitted those docs on the very next day.
You don't need to just prove your realtionship you need to prove you can support both of you and not become a ward of state. Not to become homeless.
This only makes sense and is a requirement for most countries.

I saw that too on the USCIS website... It was definitely a little disheartening but I guess at this stage we just don't know how things will go, all we can do is hope for a speedy process through USCIS and on to NVC and if I don't hear anything for at least 4 months then I will be happy because it at least means I won't have an RFE! keeping my fingers crossed for a miracle
Did anyone use a lawyer or go through an agency to file their i-130? We did it ourselves and totally front loaded our case... Fingers crossed!
That is the right thing to do. A lawyer really can't help you on this journey. All he does is things you can do easily your self.
My case is pretty much complete but I will subscribe here and don't be afraid to quote me with any questions I will help you all as much as I can. Best of luck .. Remember be patient this sometimes requires a sacrifice of time and money.
Itll be worth it for you all though. I'm here to help.

They request it just because something may of changed since your last interview.
They don't do anything to just make it hard on you and that's a bad way to look at it. On this visa journey you have to roll with the punchs.
Just do what they ask. They have a reason for it. Get to your loved one.

I was reading that they will be checked in as over sized luggage and you will have to pay extra on over sized luggage either by weight or size depending on airline. Just make sure you have the paperwork complete and just check in with airline as normal. You do not have to schedule to bring over sized luggage. They have special handlers just for the pets and are not allowed to touch or open the cages. If you have any layovers, you will need a Pet Transit Passport (is online and downloadable) for 9$. Just check with layover country to make sure transit is acceptable. I have not done this yet, but i do do alot of reading on it. Also I travel alot. And i will need to do this myself for my wife...woohoo cant wait to immigrate my crazy dog. Hope this helps with some information you may need.
Thank you. She is on a non stop flight so we don't need to worry about any layovers. I had enough miles in my united account for a free flight so that saved a lot of money.
We will make sure she has all the paperwork for her little demon of a dog ?
United does want you to come real early to check in the dog and fill some paperwork to request the dog goes on the same flight but other then that you just got the basic stuff.
big enough crate paperwork etc etc

I was thinking of send AOS package first after paying AOS fees and the other package later after IV fees.
Coming back to my initial question, did your myUscis status change to "Case was sent to Department of States"?
I did not use myUscis.
I really advice to send one package and not two.

Did you send your AOS package and IV package separately? Or did you send them all after paying IV fees?
You will send them together in one package but separated in the package. I sent them after paying both fee's but i hear you can send them after paying the first one. I just wanted to make no mistakes.

You will get a welcome letter from the NVC. That is when you are able to call. You can call ahead if you like but be a little patient.

It's pretty close to the same cost. I do think its a little on the cheaper side to live in the NL though.
It's really cramped the Netherlands is so tiny of a country but so many people ;o

Just had out interview in Montreal Very smooth and simple...always a good sign when the consular officers refers to a case as "cut and dry". Now just waiting for the visa to be issued and passport returned. Good luck to all those waiting for interviews.
Congrats!

You send the IV and the AOS in the same package do -NOT- send two different packages. Just separate them in the package.
You then only need the one barcode sheet for the front.
We applied both the barcode and the document sheet in ours because i was not sure which one i should've used.

Do not submit the visa from within the US.
-
You better call again and get this straightened out.
-
The person going to the interview needs the tax transcripts/W2 of the petitioner and to bring them to the interview.
The spouse should bring everything that was sent to the NVC just in case,to be prepared.
They will need a fresh AOS with a signature on it. Not a photo-copy but an original. Please look at your interview letter's checklist.

You are from Greece so sadly to say that is the deciding factor if its a red flag or not.
In your shoe's it wont be an issue.
-
Either you aged out or it was a mistake.
You need to call the NVC.

Oh I See thats strange. No I mean when you need to schedule an appointment with USA DOCS to do Biometrics and Fingerprinting. My Husband called Mumbai Consulate and they said he has to complete that as well and Medical.
Interesting i never knew this maybe it's a little different. They took my wife's Biometric's at the embassy in the NL. I don't see why you cant make the appointment if all they need is a case number but i would assume it would be after the interview date like the medical.
Check this forum out.

As long as you did not make any mistakes and supplied the right evidence it you usually can get through the USISC quick. What adds a lot of time is each error and trying to correct them.
