No need to be nervous. It was pretty smooth. I got lots of questions regarding my previous military training including type of the guns I used, shoot anyone etc. Other than that it was just checking the information if there is any mistake. I got my oath date today. June 11th.
-
my interview was today. it was smooth and approval recommended. . egov changed to "oath will be scheduled" immediately after the interview. my uscis website has not changed and shows 9 months to finish but the officer mentioned 2-3 weeks period without any quarante.Planning to have a 2 weeks overseas trip. I hope any of the information just provided help for something.Good luck to everyone in their journey

Wow! I filed roughly two weeks after you, also in the D (online though). I hope I hear something soon too. Congratulations!
Thank you. I hope everyone gets their interview soon. By the way interview scheduled statement is also in myuscis account. Hoping to get the interview letter tomorrow in the documents tab.

My interview was scheduled. (egov website shows this statement). There is nothing in myuscis account yet (including anything regarding the interview scheduled statement) Also I did not get any notification of "interview in line or something similar). I will give other updates asap.

Is there anyone has a statement of "in line for an interview" in their case status?and if yes, how long after biometrics you got this notification?
Thank you

for 1. you can correct at the interview.
for 2. I guess it's asking for a criminal offense. I do not think it is important (unless someone has more experience recommend something else)
I added an example from another forum. A real life experience;
"The questions are simple; have you committed a CRIME? If your traffic infarctions are criminally related then you can worry. A speeding ticket and your carpool mishandling are violations which you paid and were not incarcerated for but YES would be my answer, you were cited. Print your records of the incidents and take them with you to your interview JUST IN CASE"
"I answered no, then it came up at the interview I had a few tickets... they only cared if I had any pending as this time."
After this example: I would definitely mention about the tickets and be honest that when you were filing you did not understand exactly what they meant. Officer would be happy to hear that. Then, you can change to yes in your interview.
I hope it helps

Hello everyone.
I applied for naturalization under the 5 year rule, my paper works was not too bad. Two weeks ago I got my bio-metrics done , how long does it take for Detroit to schedule the interview ? , also , myuscis account shows the processing time is about 10 months? , is this just an estimation ? .
thank you.
https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
now it shows 6.5 t0 15 month. 6.5 is the %50 of the cases. As far as your uscis account (also ours have the similar numbers), I guess they put a number in a very worst case scenario and also they can change it anytime. Usually it takes less than that time but in this process there is nothing for sure. Also you can check the timelines in the forum.

Can anybody please advice below questions as i have Interview on April 10th.
1. On Part 10. Information About Your Marital History (continued) in my application the question 8. i was put 0 instead of 1, i misread at that time. do i need to correct at the time of Interview, right here is the question.
Q).How many times has your current spouse been married (including annulled marriages, marriages to other people, and marriages to the same person)? If your current spouse has been married before, provide the following information about your current spouse's prior spouse.
2. Part 12. Additional Information About You (Person Applying for Naturalization) (continued).. for the 23 question
23. Have you EVER been arrested, cited, or detained by any law enforcement officer (including any immigration official or any official of the U.S. armed forces) for any reason? I was put 'NO' for this at that time i am not sure what i have to put there. Actually I have one Traffic ticket(Accident but nothing injured) on May 2015 and the fine was i think $171, I just went the Court and paid the amount , finally i found the Report and Paid Receipt also.
Could you please suggest me what i have to do about this.. Do i need to inform to IO this at the time of Interview ? or only to tell if they ask this question? I am little bit confusing about this what i have to do.
Thanks

It’s the first time I heard about it, I checked my status and it does. My GC anniversary is this month on the 26. Well, it’s the conditional because the 10 year gc is being produced.
thank you. I do not want to create extra confusion for people waiting for their interview. Previously, I shared the topic below and since I'm an early filer and a paper filer , I should expect a case status changes nowadays. It sounds like a kind of approval from FBI check.
-
Is there anyone has a statement of "in line for interview" in their case status? I do not have it but since my gc anniversary is next month I was expecting to see it in my case status today (or in a couple days)
Thank you

Hi, all! If my lawyer sent the n400 application by mail, I can't see the completion time, right? Only when filling in online you can see how many months is the wait. Thank you! And Prianca, you applied in NYC?
My lawyer did the same thing. You will get instruction to create an online account that you can follow it.

What's that mean?
I mean, fine with me. My only concern is that I don't want it to be incomplete, for missing a bunch of "fingers". It would delay the process plus this office it's 2 hours away from home.
I hope it helps.

My status changed to Biometrics scheduled but I could not find yet the document for it online. Did it change last Friday 03/02 so how long usually it will take to show the appt? Thanks
my status changed to Biometrics scheduled on Saturday and letter was in the document on Monday at 7 p.m

I think everybody (especially early filers like me) can read this topic and it would be helpful at some point.
-
Biometrics appointment was super easy. I had a hesitation to be accepted inside the building since I was early (more than 1 hour to my appointment) but there was no problem and nobody was in the line. My wife went to the car to take our sleeping baby boy and before her entrance to the waiting area, I was out. Good luck to everyone. I will try to keep giving updates with every simple detail ( since I was also checking for that details) and hope it would be helpful for someone.

Awesome 😃 Hopefully your interview doesn't take too long to be scheduled!
Thanks. I hope it will be fast for all of us.

Just completed my biometrics (around 1 pm) and it shows (around 2 pm) uscis is actively reviewing my application. I was not expecting that fast status change. FYI

Hi guys I got this today what this mean ?!!
We are taking longer than expected to process your case. You do not need to do anything at this time.mine is same. I think it happens to the lots of applicants so not a specific issue on your case. Here is another discussion regarding the topic.
