in general you don't need to do anything for your brother.
Address change is targeted for aliens, non USCs. Your brother needs to change the address either through that link or mailingThank you @arken, since the link only allows change for US address, I'm assuming I won't have to do anything for my brother, it is for US citizens only. So in all, I don't need to update anything for the 2 mentioned reasons.
Thank you @powerpuff for moving the post to the correct location. -
I checked the forms, and it looks like the form only allows change of address for the petitioner (me). https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/addressChange.do
I also couldn't find any forms to update he had a son about 3 years ago.Do I need to update his file at all? If so, it looks like I may have to call in or find the correct form? Thank you all in advance!

Just called, they said it's a waiting game, and if it doesn't happen in 2 more months, call them again. (So close to the 2 year perm resident expiration!)

Wow thanks for that! Really informative, I will tell my wife immediately. Thank you!

We've read the USCIS documents but you know how confusing those can be.
We got married on August 2016, and are planning to travel to Asia (Vietnam and Philippines) in November, 2017. We believe this should be ok, but just wanted to make sure in case we've overlooked something.
She's a green card holder (got it a month ago)
Thanks in advance!

The strange thing is, we already sent in the Civil Surgeon signed form.. but it was missing a check mark.. A CHECK MARK.. then we sent in the paper work with a check mark. Now they're asking us and the civil surgeon to send in ALL the paperwork again. Saying they need it all from the civil surgeon with the check mark. How does this make any sense?

Thanks all, I can breathe a little easier now

So I sent in the evidence on February 13th, 2017.. and it still says that they've sent an RFE on my status page:
Tracking says it was received:
Does this look normal to anyone?
I called the USCIS and they said it takes them 60 days for them to have a response -- but reading around, I see people getting approved after a week they sent it in. -
I'm a bit confused on what to do next since some of the steps seem repetitive.
So she came to the US on Aug 5th, 2016 on the K1 visa. We got married on Aug 27th, 2016.
I know we should now be applying for the SSN first:
http://www.visajourney.com/content/ssn (We already got married, do we use the new last name or her maiden name?)
After the marriage license arrives, then we'll do K1AOS
http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos (G-325a was already filled before, do we refill this document, also do we use the new last name?)

Nevermind, found this link: https://my.uscis.gov/findadoctor -- hope it helps someone else

This process is riddled with government-quality mistakes and difficulties..
First the immigration website doesn't work properly, if you've ever applied for a different visa, the system doesn't let you register.
When there are links, it's broken. The wording is confusing. And now this, if you live far away from the medical exam hospital, you have to travel there, a week prior, then travel back again for the interview.
In the Philippines, that's 4 trips if you don't live in Manila!
It's just really annoying.. sorry have to really vent.
"It is important to complete your medical examination at least a week before your interview appointment"
Anyone else on here that's going through this BS?

So my fiance and I will get married at city hall once our visa approves, can we leave the country immediately after to get married (church wedding) in her home country?
-
I'm a US citizen, she's in the Philippines.
We'd like to get married in the Philippines before the K1 Visa process is approved. Is this possible, or would it make the process more difficult?
Also, can we marry in the Philippines after the K1 visa is approved also? So she'll be traveling to the US with a K1 Visa and we'll have a civil wedding in the States.

Looks like we'll have to do the Fiance Visa route (6 months). We'll follow the rules.

I'd like to know the advantages/disadvantages of filing a Fiance Visa vs Tourist Visa then marry here. It appears that the Fiance Visa will just add steps and time but will have minor benefits. Thanks in advance!
My brother (alien relative) had a child 3 yrs+ ago, and also changed his address, do I need to update his account?

Correct, this is in regards to the I-130 -- got it, no need to update until 1 yr before his Priority Date becomes current. Thank you!
