Exactly dont trust what normal reps tell you because they usually dont and just tell you things to get u off the phone quickly try talking to a supervisor if you cant get hold of one at one time try another time. I called a week ago and the rep said my case hasnt been reviewed and she is puting it to the Supervisor review which will take another 42 days to complete and guess what after two days the staus on website changed to 3 N/A ill call them today as well for confirming whether it is a case complete or not and ill talk to supervisor.

There is no supervisor review after the CC has been done. The next stage after CC is when NVC sent your file to the relevant consulate for scheduling an interview. And after interview there is a process called Administrative processing which can be long or short depends on case to case basis.

Well, after a cc email when I called them to check for interview date and instead three weeks later they said it has been send to a supervisor for additional review. So apparently they do this even after a cc. That's why I am confused. Haven't been able to get a supervisor yet on the phone to figure this out. I am baffled.

I have to admit this supervisor review business has me scratching my head. It seems the standard script reading at NVC is "Supervisor Review" or "We don;t have this and that document you must send it again". Like is there a troll in their office eating peoples documents. people delayed for months sending the same dang document 2 ,3 ,4 times. I'm not even at NVC and I am frustrated to all heck. I am sorry for you all. There is no excuse.

I don;t want to be president Just head of immigration well at least over USCIS and NVC and all embassies. Boy there would e some consistency I am telling you.

Yeah. To my mind, for most of the cases a supervisor review really is just an all purpose excuse for its incompetence that NVC likes to pass on to us. I was so hoping for a December interview. Argh!

Ok so the new status after a 23rd Oct. CC and an email confirming the CC on the 30th oct., is we are put on a supervisor review. What does that even mean after a CC? We called, and of course could not get hold of a supervisor who could throw some light on what's happening. We had no checklists or anything at any point in the process. Anyone?

How come you didn't get the interview scheduled did you call NVC as your case completed on Oct 23rd and you should be getting too.

I am really curious that what criteria does NVC take into consideration to schedule the interviews.

Tell me about it! Your guess is as good as mine. The only thing that makes sense to me is coin toss, can't imagine any heavy duty number crunching NVC engages in. Ha! I call everyday, some days thrice! Today though I am only going to call once.p, at the end of the day. That might do the trick.

Not entirely sure why. That's what I have read. Maybe it is for your own convenience- so you are not wihtout it too long after you get there. That's my guess.

You can do so by calling on phone also. But I guess tomorrow and day after the embassy will remain closed Veterans Day and then Diwali. And Congrats on getting an interview.

So it's been about 52 days since CC and I have little hope for an interview in early Dec. We'd like to celebrate our son's 2nd birthday and Xmas together. Does anybody know, in case I should get an interview in Dec, how easy it would be to reschedule it to a later date in January?

It's about time my child sees his father again.

Oh sweet life! Now I know truly what they meant by patience is a virtue. We were really hoping to spend our first wedding anniversary together in Dec. Seems bleak now.

I think once your case reaches the embassy, you can ask for a reschedule. Better confirm with Dwheels.

A couple of us are in the same boat. Seems they have stacked up all the CC's and will only be scheduling interviews in November now. I'd say, next week. Hang in there.
