Hello wonderful people
I need your advice
my husband sent his I-751 form two weeks ago, and just 2 days ago he realized he didnt sent anything with his package.
I did my research and we were suppose to send evidence, copy of his green card and a lot more stuff. ahhhh so at this point
I am soo stressed out.
Should I go ahead and sent out a new package or should I wait to hear from USCIS California Service Center?
has this happen to anyone else?
thanks!

Sounds like many of the stories from this forum, as well as mine. I actually traveled to Egypt by myself, a bit risky, if you decided to go make sure you have a plan for everything. Hotel, transpiration, etc .. Egypt is beautiful but a foreigner that doesnt know arabic should never walk the streets alone in Egypt. If you need anyone to talk to or have questions message me

My husband finished school first (university) then did his mandatory army service, then was allowed to travel.

who ever sponsored you needs to give your their most recent Federal income tax return
-
You dont need anything from your wife, I attended the interview with my husband. I took my pay stubs, my taxes, extra proof... at the end we didnt need anything... all you need is what the letter says... unless they ask for additional stuff dont take anything.

The reason for that medical exam is to make sure you are not bringing any health threats to the US. Be truthful in your exam. My husband did it in the Anglo American hospital

Did you have a co sponsor ? or how did you prove that you can finical support your spouse? you have to retract every detail...

they will ask you (if you attend) in the interview how many times have you visited... my advice is to try to visit your husband at least one more time and get as much proof possible of your marriage.. trips together.. pictures etc
-
you dont need them, unless they ask for them

To be honest, you really dont need to send any conversations between you and your wife(unless they ask for it) . All i sent was 5 pictures of me and my husband( honeymoon pictures, wedding pictures, etc) make sure you give a brief summary of picture in the back of it.

my time line has the questions they asked me (petitioner) and my husband (applicant) in the interview.
and no one really knows what they will ask. Honestly its random, i think they first analyze you to see if your nervous, then they go from there.
DOUBLE CHECK YOUR PICTURES ARE THE RIGHT SIZE OR THEY WILL SEND YOU(even if you are right in front of the line) TO GET THE RIGHT SIZE...

best of luck

the letter you received with your interview information should have EVERYTHING you need. You don't need any additional papers besides the ones they are asking for. When I attended the interview with my husband I took pictures and documents I thought they would need like pay stubs, updated taxes and they didnt ask for any of that. Make sure your papers are organized in order. Good luck!

Does anyone else have some insight on that? Specially the people who have done the CR1 interview
no the beneficiary doesnt have to show up in the interview with the affidavit of support, NVC sends everything to Cairos consulate, unless they request additional information you should be fine

And how long did it take to receive his passport back & have y'all went back to the usa yet ?
He received it after 2 weeks, I dont live in Egypt. I live in the states.

My husband and I just had our interview last month, I (petitioner) attended the interview with him and everything went well
we were asked a few questions (questions on my signature) , after a few minutes she congratulated us and we were approved.
Make sure your fiance has all his papers ready and organized, make sure he has the right picture size because a lot of people were sent out of the line to get the right size.

Hello there
yes you are allowed to take your fiancee/wife to the interview.
I attended the interview with my husband, by the looks of it, it helped.
From the post I have read here, it does help.

all I can think off is that he faked a marriage certificate to be able to stay with you in a hotel room, Egyptian Muslim men are not allowed to stay with foreigners with out a marriage certificate in a hotel. It looks soo real too, like someone said, he probably chickened out...

yes if it expired he will be required to get a new one, before you send it to NVC make sure its translated to English. Send both Arabic and English translation. Triple double check, you send the translated version, I forget to send the english translation and we got checked list

There are several steps required from your part to get married to an American in Egypt. You have to do your research first

Thank you so much, i am just confused regarding the Military Certificate translation. I had already served in the army and completed my required serving period and the Certification of Military i have states that i had completed the service without any problems. I read some people from Egypt said they translated this certificate from Language Institute of the Armed Forces in Kobry al Kuba. PLEASE Tell me what to do ? and if it required or not because i am really confused.
Thanks
nooo do not go there, go to the places on the website.
