Thank you very much!

I've gathered all our evidence together, and it's time to file for removal of conditions. But I can't find any info on what other forms I need to file besides the I-751. Are there any other forms I need to file? An affidavit of support? Another G325a, or employment authorization form?
Thank you in advance.

Has he been getting paid a salary for the past three months? If so then it is ok to put down his new annual income as long as he will be getting this salary in the future.

Take a copy of his orders to the interview and a letter from his CO explaining that he could not under any circumstances be at the interview due to military commitments. That should suffice.

Hello,
I posted this in the military forum as well; yet, I decided to reach out to as many people as I can to ask for answers.
My husband is currently in AIT training, and I am filing a green card application for myself.
1. What should I put in G325A for his employer and current address? Do I put "US Army" then his base address?
2. Do I list the annual income that is "expected" for him in the form? He has been receiving his bi-weekly pay in BCT/AIT trainings yet the amount is far greater than what you would get as a reservist - because you are considered on active duty while in training.

3. Do I check that he is on "Active" duty even if he is a reservist? (Is there any other way of indicating that he is a reservist?)
Thank you!
1. Yes put US Army and the address of his base.
2. List only his income that he is receiving. I don't think you can use projected income.
3. I'm not sure. Hopefully someone can help with that question. My husband is a full time reservist which comes under active duty. I'm nor sure about part time reservists.
Good luck on your AOS journey

this is where you check (thanks google). My husband's status says the same thing - returned to Maryland. He applied in VA.
Does anybody know how long until SSN is on hand from the verification date?
I just received mine on Monday. I waited 8 weeks. It's stressful but try to be patient. It will show up soon.

Yes he can withdraw anytime before green card is issued.
You can however get a new joint sponsor.

Hello,
I went to my local SSA office today (Gainesville, FL) to follow up on my application for my SSN. They processed the application on July 15 and said they were still waiting for verification from DHS. I checked SAVE when I got home and it says that DHS has returned the case to the agency. The problem is that it was returned to the WRONG SSA office. It was returned to Maryland SSA office. Has anyone run into this problem before? I'm not sure who to contact to correct. My local SSA office, Maryland SSA office, DHS?
Thanks in advance.
I also checked mine on SAVE today and it says the same thing, that it was returned to Maryland office. Maybe its the SS office that deals with new number applications? I applied in New Orleans on June 10th and still haven't heard anything either.

Now that I have my 2 year GC my husband and I are planning to visit my family in Scotland for 2 weeks. I've looked online but can't find any answers. Does my husband need any visa or esta type document to visit with me? Thank you in advance.

They will probably ask for photos with family members and friends. Most people seem to be asked for this evidence. It is considered a big red flag if no one knows about your relationship.
They will also be looking for more evidence of bona fide relationship than 1 joint account and some chat logs. I would begin getting more evidence together before filing.

I organized my documents and paper clipped them. Then i mailed them in a cardboard envelope that said do not bend. We over nighted them to the Chicago address instead of lockbox.
Yes include as much evidence as possible. Pay stubs, w2s, photos, tax returns. I included signed statements from my sister in law about our relationship too. Any joint accounts, medical insurance and leases are great. Include as much as you can.
Good luck with your journey.

Omg yay! congratulations!
Thank you. It was over and done within 10-15 mins so honestly don't worry. Everything should go fine

Don't worry yourself too much. I was a nervous wreck for weeks too but had my interview this morning and all went well. We received our approval online less than 5 mins after leaving the USCIS building.

I had my interview at USCIS New Orleans office this morning. We we're approved online 5 mins after leaving the building. Everything went pretty smooth. We only waited 25 mins and were asked a few basic questions.

They have probably mailed you a letter asking for evidence of job offer to be mailed or faxed to them. Wait a few days and you will probably receive this.

Hope it goes well for you later this month. I'm expecting to hear something closer to the Autumn.
Oh sorry I made reference to seasons there... I forget they don't exist in the Southern States!
Thank you. We have summer, summer, 6 weeks of autumn and back to summer lol.

I thought with you all being in the "Big Easy" that it would... Well... Be easy... No?
Lol. Mines has been pretty straight forward. I waited 108 days for EAD approval but only because we received an RFIE. I filed in February and my interview is June 28th. So all in all not been a bad experience so far.

The state of Louisiana requires a full Green Card to obtain a DL. They govern under a particular law that is different from most states. I cannot go to a different location as it has to be State issued where I actually live.
I'm also in Louisiana (New Orleans) and checked the website several times to make sure but it clearly states you can apply for a drivers license with a pending I-485 and an EAD. I would go to their website, print it out and take it to the OMV.
I just noticed we are both from the UK and both living in New Orleans lol.

i am already in the us for over a year now. you was talking about the k1 interview in cairo embassy i already passed that. i am asking about the interview letter for the green card in my local office in charlotte NC, thanks for ur response anyway. plz if any body knows there help would be much appreciated
The case is only ready to be scheduled for interview so do not expect the letter yet. Your online status will change to case has been scheduled for interview when they actually schedule the appointment for you. For me it took a little over two weeks to have my interview scheduled but I know of others on here that have waited months.
Its just luck unfortunately.

Thanks . I'll be looking out for the response. Did you get the response around the same time you got approved?
I had put in 2 previous requests as I had tried to expedite my EAD but I think I just slowed it down to be honest. On my third service request I didn't receive the email that was supposedly sent so I called and spoke to tier 2, they told me I had been approved two days prior. All in I think it took 108 days for my approval.

Why not change the title to the car to include your married name. Then your husband should have no problem driving your car over the border if he is willing to do it.

My inquiry actually changed to assigned. I had problems loading the page so I didn't see the update. Do they send the inquiry response by mail or email?
If its your first enquiry the response is usually sent out by normal mail. Other enquiries made after the first are usually sent by email.

I just received a notice for my naturalization appointment/test. Does anyone know if the New Orleans location offers us to take the same day oath?
Thank you in advance.
