yup yun a yun. dikit nila visa mo sa passport + envelope
-
it means you're approved!
Congratulations!
-
I think what missik is trying to ask is the validity of the B1/B2 visa to enter the US. He wanted to buy the ticket in February but the visa was issued in October. I am not really sure of my answer but I think for the tourist visa you have to enter the US within 6 months from the date of issue.
Maybe you guys could confirm or correct me if I am wrong.

Ingat ka sa biyahe and the best of luck!

The best of luck!
-
Prayer works all the time
The best of luck to you.
Balitaan moko ha? good luck ulit

Nope. You don't need documents regarding your work or your bank account. Only the documents regarding your fiance work, bank account and employment letter are important in which these documents are included in your AOS. You don't need your fiance's bank account if his/her annual income is above poverty line.

Even if it says Non immigrant in the DS160 confirmation K1 is actually processed by the embassy as immigrant. So take the immigrant line. I don't think they will care whether you were still friends when you first met with your fiance. Just don't get your dates mixed up because they will ask the dates as to when did you meet. In my case the officer only ask for the year. If the CO ask you when was the relationship started then you should count your meeting from the date you said the relationship started
The girl I told you about who took the bus. she got approved too but she said she was in the embassy for 4 hours. Maybe because she arrived at 7:30. As for me I arrived at 6:30. I was in by 8am and was out by 10:30
That's about 2 and a half hours.
Good luck to you and don't forget to pray.
Prayer works all the time.

You don't have to list your personal effects that you are bringing for your own use, like your clothes and toiletries. Anything other than your personal belongings, such as gifts, would need to be listed. You will need to check yes on #11 for the food you are bringing in.
What about personal jewelries, watches and handbags. I don't have the receipts of these things anymore. Do I need to put an estimated amount?

Hi mitzie,
The embassy opens at 8am but they will start letting the people in by 7:30 because of security procedures. You should go early because people will start arriving as early as 6am. There are 2 lines in there one for Immigrant Visa and the Non Immigrant visa. You take the immigrant visa line. The guards will let the immigrant visa applicants in first.
I arrive at arround 6:30am and I was No. 11 in line. My brother actually drove me to Abu Dhabi. We left Dubai around 4am and stopped at a gas station for breakfast. When we got to the embassy there were already around 15 people in there but most of them are with children applying family immigrant visa.
My initial plan was to check in to the hotel a night before the interview but I changed my mind because its expensive lol. It ranges from AED400-500 per night. And that's the cheapest room so I just opted to ask my brother to go with me and fortunately he was able to take a leave of absence hehehe.
There was a Filipina who had her interview last October 12 and she said she took the bus from Bur Dubai bus station. She said the first trip for Abu Dhabi is 5am and she arrived at the embassy at around 7:30. All immigrant visa applicants have the same interview appointment time which is 8am. So if you want to save money you can take the bus or ask a relative or a friend to drive you there. Otherwise you can check in a hotel.
With regards to your question on how did I answer the question how many times did we meet. I answered twice and the consular officer seemed quite satisfied with my answer. They are going to ask the specific number of times so you cannot answer "many" I think if you met twice that would be enough. If you met only once then I think the consul officer will ask you a few more questions. Actually the interview is very short they will only ask you 3-5 questions. The waiting period is way longer than the interview.
The best of luck to you. Don't worry if your papers are complete you will surely get an approval. Just relax and don't forget to smile when you enter the interview room

Hi! yeah its been awhile. I intentionally stop reading visa journey while I was waiting for my interview because every time i log on in here it makes me more nervous of my own interview.
Anyway I just had my interview yesterday and i got approved
if you haven't have your interview yet well one tip i can give you is to go to the embassy early. the early you are the early you can leave
Just be honest with your answers and everything will be fine. Usually they would ask you from where did you meet your fiance ? when was the last time you saw your fiance and how many times did you meet in person. what does your fiance do for a living. its more on the details about your fiance so you have to review the things she/he wrote on his I-129f documents.
Good luck!

Dear All,
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the members who took their time to reply to all my inquiries when I was processing my application. Your insights and inputs has helped me a lot in the process.
Today, I had an interview and I was APPROVED!
I will be collecting my visa on November 5, 2015.
To those who are processing their K1 visa in USEM Abu Dhabi, I wish you all good luck and if you need some information regarding the processing you can ask me. I am no expert but I can share with you my experience. I know what its like to not know what to do or being confused. I've been there and if it weren't for the help of the members in here I wouldn't know what to do as well. So, I would like to pay it forward.
Good luck everyone!
Thank you Vj ers for all the help!

when you click on the form. the pdf will let you fill it up. just use the internet explorer browser.

When the embassy send an email to my sponsor regarding the requirements. they ask me to go to this website that has the DS160 but they also gave a link of another PDF form that says for the beneficiary and when i click on the link it gives me the DS 230 form.
Anyway just follow the instruction they have sent you.
with the sleepless nights and feeling nervous is something the we applicants have the in common lol.
The best of luck to you too..
-
The embassy asked me to fill up DS230. I'm wondering why yours is different.
Anyway, I suggest you make sure first how long will it take for your sponsor to get all the documents for AOS before you schedule your interview. Sometimes it could take 3 weeks but the courier will only take 3-4 days. In the meantime work on your proof of the relationship. pictures , sms, bbm, whatsapp, emails. as for the medical you need to get it 1 week before your interview as the result will take 2-3 days.
Goodluck to us

Dubai Police certificate is only valid for 3 months. Your Petiotioner will prepare the AOS that can take weeks as weeks as well. NBI clearance takes time. you have to go to the consulate to get the form and go to police station to get your fingerprints then back to consulate then you will have to send your application form to NBI Manila.
I am only waiting for my interview
and will have my medical soon.
Is your second form DS156K? for mine they ask for DS230
-
yes the system will can hold your DS160 for a month. you can submit it right away or you can submit after some time.
-
yes you need to fill up the DS-160 form, submit then print the confirmation. Then proceed to the website they have given and schedule for an interview. But before you can schedule for interview the system will tell you to pay for a fee. How much and where to pay is on the instruction page that they will ask you to print.
i hope it helps

Hi Miha,
Yes you can appy for CR1 visa in Abu Dhabi Embassy but it is your husband who will petition you. All he has to do once he applied in US (i don't know the procedure for CR1 petition because I am a K1 applicant) he can choose the Abu Dhabi as the consular location. They will forward your application to abu dhabi embassy and you can process the application from there.
Again I'm not an expert so I suggest you post a new topic regarding your question. There are a lot of people in here who can answer your question in detail
Good Luck!
-
Yes Mae you have a choice of departing from Manila. What I am saying is that you will never know what the immigration people would ask as additional documents. If they know that you got your k1 visa from other country they might ask for a lot of documents even if you have attended the seminar or even if you have complete documents. I just don't want to take the risk of being retain. Its better to be safe than sorry

I don't have vaccination records. so I guess I need to pay what you have paid
Beneficiary's requirements - Dubai, U.A.E

wag na lang muna siguro. mas maganda yung you have your visa on hand before ka magbook ng ticket kasi what if my mga typo error sa details ng visa mo at need pa nilang ayusin for sure it will take time. pagkakuha mo na lang cguro. anyway monday na naman yun. before ka alis ng embassy check mo muna yung visa na dinikit nila sa passport mo kung tama lahat ng details bago ka lumabas kasi kapag nakalabas ka na d ka na nila papasukin ulit.
