Sad talaga at nakakaiyak pero ganun talaga kesa ma-detain ka masyado ng hassle kapag ganun.
Thanks sa inputs. just want to ask how long did the medical exam lasts? do they accept Friday appointment?

i was planning to go home too before going to the US but I don't want to take the risk of being retain in the airport just because the immigration is asking for additional documents that is not really needed for port of entry. I guess for the next 2 or 3yrs we'll just be contented with skype calls to our family back in the Philippines. when you get your green card then you can go home and not to worry about anything.
It is sad but the risk is too big to take
As for Mae good for you if you can go back home before the interview. If Dubai is only as near as Hongkong
we could just fly out too and be in the Philippines in less than 3hrs!

Thank you for the reply Ms. Mira. We are still trying to get all the documents for the interview ready hopefully i will get all of them ready before the end of this week and I will be able to schedule my interview as well. Thanks for the inputs really appreciate it. I am staying in Hor Al Anz so it would be convenient for me to go to Empost. How much did you pay to the empost? Did you pay the full visa fee? and how much did you pay for the medical? I am planning to go to NMC for my medical.
If you will go out from the immigration then you are subject for security and immigration check when you come back to the airport. If I were you don't take the risk of going out because you never know what the immigration personnel will ask of you when you come back. Like Mae said even they you have all the documents they still have the power to retain you. I don't want to say anything bad about our immigration in the Philippines but I think its not worth taking the risk.
Thank you and good luck with your interview.

In the Philippines they said that after you get your visa you have to attend a seminar, I'm not sure if its like PDOS but similar. They will give you a certificate that you have attended the seminar. When you depart the immigration officer will ask for this certificate.
My advice is don't go back to the Philippines you might be hold in there and with the things going on with NAIA personnel right now who knows what else would they ask you, so I think it is safer if you would depart from the UAE. That is what I am going to do when all is well with my application
By the way Miss Mira, I am still on the process of scheduling my interview, can you please provide me some information.
1) I have already submitted my DS160 form. Where do I need to pay for the visa fee. Can I pay in the embassy on the interview date?
2) what are the requirements for medical exam? do you need to bring your original passport?
3) how long did it take you to get an interview schedule? are you allowed to choose the interview date?
I really appreciate your inputs
Thanks

Good Day Everyone! I am appealing to the USEM Abu Dhabi applicants who have gone through this already.
have submitted my DS-160 online and I got the confirmation already. My question is where do I pay the visa fee for the application? and How much is the fee?
I have read in here that you can pay the fee in the embassy on your interview date but I also read from their website that you need to pay to National Bank of Abu Dhabi.
I am confused here please enlighten me.
Also, I want to know what do the Medical Clinics required to bring for the Medical Exam?
Your help is very much appreciated.
Thank you

Hello everyone. I need help. I am currently fillip up the DS160 form and i have a few questions.
1) I am currently living and working in Dubai. I have applied the k1 visa in abu dhabi. my question is what should i write in the home address? Should I put my Dubai address or should I put my home address in my home country?
2) I have filled the DS160 form before when I applied for a tourist visa in 2013 in USEM Manila, Unfortunately I didn't get my visa. But I need to ask, does the information I have submitted before should be the same information I will put in my DS160 for k1 application? Does it affect my application if there are changes in the information?
Please help me.
Thank you in advance

Thank you lewisandmike for the reply. It helps a lot

Thank you teeak for the reply.
Even if its a K1 visa right? you don't need the statement when your petitioner is above poverty line?
I just want confirmation.
Thanks

Hello All,
I would like to ask regarding affidavit of support. Does my petitioner needs to send me his bank statements aside from the tax returns to show how much money he has in his account even if he passes above the minimum poverty level or the minimum income requirement to petition me?
I appreciate all the help you can give me
Thanks in advance

Thank you kaydeecee for the reply. There is a website that the embassy gave that you need to log in. The thing is I need to fill up the Invoice ID number in which I didn't have yet. People here said that we need to call NVC. My fiance has been calling the NVC office but so far he was not able to get through yet. They have a recorded message saying to call back because there's too many calls at the moment.
I was asking about the AOS because I have read some posts that there is a fee for it. It is confusing me or maybe its for other visa classification. The embassy is asking my fiance to provide I-864 form not I-134.

Hi! I am appealing to those who have the experience of filing for K1 visa please help me with my questions.
My fiance received an email from the Abu Dhabi US embassy regarding the documents we need to produce to bring to the interview. They have given a website to log in but I needed the Invoice ID number in which I don't have yet. So bottom line is I can't log in without that number. My question questions are the following:
1) How can I get the Invoice ID number. I am a bit confused because the embassy has already send me information about the interview when I haven't received my Invoice ID number and Beneficiary ID number yet.
2) My fiance is currently preparing the documents for the affidavit of support. I want to ask if he needs to send the AOS to NVC for approval and if there's a fee for that?
3) Does my fiancee need to prepare domicile documents?
4) To those who have log in to the website that the embassy has ask you to log in in which you need an Invoice ID number. Can you please tell me the contents of the site. Just to give me an idea what to do when I'm able to log in.
I really appreciate the time you spent reading and answering my questions.
Thanks a bunch.

Yes I have check the embassy info for the medical. Actually what is written in the embassy website concerning the medical is the same information they sent in the attachment. They mentioned though that if you have any inquiries you have to contact one of the panel clinics.
How did you know that they have received your file last Sunday?

Hi waitingstill21. Thanks for the reply. They send an email to my petitioner on August 24, 2015.The email said that they have received the fiance file along with the 3 attachments. List of required documents to bring during the interview (1st attachment) list of panel of clinics for medical (2nd attachment) and Security information or the DO's and Don'ts on interview date (3rd attachment). It did not mentioned the schedule date for the appointment. It just said that I need to go to the mentioned website to schedule my visa appointment. They said something about transitioning into a new appointment system. I think they are introducing a new system for scheduling the appointment.
As for the medical they did not mentioned anything except the names of the certified medical centers. I guess I will call one of the medical centers to inquire. Thank you for the information that it should be a week before the interview.
I am new here so I'm kind of doesn't know what to do
thanks for the tip. I will fill up my timeline soon. Thanks

Hi! Everyone. I am the beneficiary and my petitioner has received an email from US Embassy Abu Dhabi to schedule the visa appointment along the list of the documents required for the interview.
My questions are the following:
1) We are currently gathering the documents needed and I am still waiting for my petitioner to send me his AOS. When should I schedule for the interview? Can I schedule the interview prior to completing all the required documents? Will I be able to choose the interview date?
2) With regards to the Medical, I haven't done the medical yet. what are the required documents needed to get a medical? Will the medical center give you the medical result on the same day?
3) Lastly, regarding the police clearances. I needed a police clearance from Hong Kong. I have already applied but the Hong Kong government said they will send the clearance directly to the embassy within 4 calendar weeks. How would I know that the embassy has already received my police clearance?
Your help is very much appreciated.
Thank you

Thank you so much for the information. It really helps a lot.
I guess for now we have no choice but to endure the pain of not being able to hug and bid goodbyes to our parents. Time flies so fast anyway. your first vacation with your green card would be the happiest.
By the way, when did you get your exam results from NMC. Did they give you the same day? or you have to go back for it?
