Just seem a little trivial, given that you already submitted legal dissolution of previous marriage. Did they go solely with what they saw on facebook?, Did they even look up your facebook? Seems trivial to me.
I am equally a divorcee and these just makes me ponder. I guess you just never know what cards they gonna turn on you at the interview.

Just want to let everyone know that my wife and daughter got they interview approved. It was extremely easy the hardest part was just sitting down and waiting at the embassy, the officer only asked 2 questions:
1) What does your husband do?
2) What address will you be going too?
That was it, thanks to everyone that has helped me in this entire process, I am so glad that its over, now I am focusing on getting tickets to go home and bring them back :-D All the best my friends, I will be back on VJ from time to time and I apologize for not being on often but I recently moved to a different state and changed jobs etc....

We have 10 days left with just 5 working days in between. Whew!

Anyone else awaiting to hear about an interview in London? My hubby's case was complete April 14th....just trying to determine if we should expect to hear about a June interview date in the coming week....I sure hope so as its been such a long road. When i read everyone else's posts, i totally relate. It's so difficult being without your other half:(

Well its getting real ya'll. My husband today said "Can you believe we are 7 days away". He has forbidden me to make any mention of days to go. From 64 days from when we we scheduled to 7 days away. Lord help me I am about to pass out.

He's been Approved!! Big sigh of relief! And we didn't need the envelope or postage in the end, since we'd registered with the CSC beforehand. Wow! What a day. I'm kinda in shock. But very very happy.
I thought we were gonna have to pay another fee there, but we didnt. I presume the only fee left is the Greencard one we do online?

Today is the big day, my husband arrives to the US later today. I will pick him up from the airport myself. I'm excited yet I still don't believe it. Being in a long distance relationship for nearly three years still seems so surreal that distance will no longer separate us. It probably wont hit me until he's inside my car lol.
I just hope these hours of work left pass by fast and drive straight to the airport!

We will be celebrating anniversary here in Enugu. We plan to announce at Party "oh by the way I am moving to America I leave in 1 week". Oh my.
As each day nears I swear we getting on each others nerves. He don't want to hear daily countdown (20 days for me, 13 for you ) but he asked everyday "have they touched our file yet". Than he says "they know we watching so they probably have it but not updating. LOL

I know. We we were assigned on Feb. 24th we had 64 days to interview. It seemed forever. I put the countdown ticker on my phone and here we are now at 21 days and for you 14 days. OMG.
My husband has told me "Stop o telling me how many days, minutes, hours." hehe
He went and bought his outfit for interview. decided we would look to much if we wore matching outfit But my dress is being made anyway. We are saving the matching outfits for May 15th our anniversary party.
We are so ready. If they called and said be there tomorrow we would be ready too go. You hear me Lagos call email we ready.

I called nvc and finally got the interview date may 4th omg ?

Cc - March 22
(came to know over the phone)
Interview date - May 19
(came to know today over the phone)
Not yet any type of documents! Funny!
My advice is to CALL NVC 1 week after cc.

Interview date May 16th Dwheels.
The lady was like, we literally just updated your case with this information, nice timing.
