Oath Ceremony 11/14/2019.

I have a friend here at work from the UK and he just had his interview this morning at Irving and was given the same November 21st oath ceremony there on the spot.

Just got back from the oath ceremony, what a great morning it was, people from 96 countries in Plano, one thing I will say, I had the early ceremony at 7:30 and tons of us showed up at 6:45 but they refused to open the doors till 7:30 on the dot, but other than that it went perfectly, I’m officially a US Citizen!!

Oath Ceremony is scheduled for 7 November, 1:30pm!!!!!

Had my naturalization ceremony today... it is insane to think it is finally over.

Here I go brothers and sisters,  today I attended my interview, I live two hours away form the USCIS building so I got a hotel room ( 5 min away) just to make sure I am close by and dont miss my appointment, needles to say I was not able to sleep because I was  very nervous, I applied for N400 through asylum and I visited the country that I ran away  from many times, because i have all of my family there and I was afraid they were gonna give me a hard time over that but the officer never said anything about me going to visit my family. 
Just a little back ground for people that are not familiar with my case, 
Applied for N400,  January 15th 2019 , Interview letter September 10th 2019,   Interview  was today 10/15/2019  time 8:30 am
I went there early , they let you in 30 min prior to the appointment.  Went through security, then they said go to window  # 1 or #2 , went there,  got checked on the computer and got told to go upstairs and wait for my name to be called.... after about 30 minutes of wait, my name was called by an officer and got up and followed him. 
He was very friendly, and professional, first he wanted all the passports and ID such as my driver license, and my green card. 
Told him that i had made some mistakes on my application and I would like to correct them ( my address was misspelled, forgot to put Germany that I have been to, forgot to put a part time job) 
his reply was not a big deal we can fix them.  
He was like lets swear about telling the truth and  go with the civic test first... questions that i remember were... Name an Indian American tribe, Who is the commander in Chief, who sings bills to become law,  and so on dont remember the rest but I knew all in my sleep so i was fine 
Then we proceeded with reading test Which was `` where is the white house``       then the writing test was `` the white house is in Washington DC`` 
congrats you passed the civic test, now lets go with your application 
We went through my application and we stopped at the tickets, I gave him the  proof that I had taken care off the payments. Then an other section we stopped was the Yes and NO questions `` have you ever been on removal proceedings I was positive absolutely NO, then he asked me if I know what it meant `` i said yes and i told him when you get told to leave the country`` then he explained to me that, that one would be a deportation order... so he explained to me that I actually had been on removal proceeding at one point which is when ever you apply for asylum and go before the judge and he said lets change your answer and correct ti to yes and had me sign the change. 
the rest was just fine, he was nice and helpful and boy was I happy to be approved. 
I see on my online account that naturalization ceremony  has been scheduled and I should be able to see it with with in two days. 
I am very happy to almost be a US citizen, and I cant wait to call everyone that already got sworn in `` my fellow citizens`` and also I wish all of you that are on the process a smooth and stress-less ride. 

There is 2 oath ceremony in the metroplex in November. Nov 14th & Nov 20th. You will make one of those.

Just got notification that my Oath was scheduled... Will post back once I have the date.

Had my combo interview this AM. Was approved. They let my wife stay in the room for the naturalization interview as well.

Good news update!
 
It appears the congressional inquiry worked... I just received a phone call from USCIS to schedule an appointment. I have my I-751 and N-400 Interview TOMORROW morning @ 9am.!!!

I got email saying change in status and notice was uploaded to website 2 days later. 

Had my interview in Irving TX today and was approved in 10 mins, the girl was very friendly, asked me some basic questions and went over 6 civil questions. She said I had passed and she has scheduled me for 10/31 ceremony in Plano at the convention center where there would be another 1000 people taking their oath. 

Just got in touch with my congressmans office for an update... VSC told them that my case is sitting in the Jacksonville field office... So it either just got there in the last couple weeks (9/19 Jacksonville responded to my case inquiry and said the case was in another location), or they just sent a canned response. Lol. Hopefully that means there will be an interview scheduled soon... Congressman's office is waiting on a more detailed update on the next steps. 

The interview letter finally populated.  It was strange - the DHS site updated this morning about 5 am, then I checked a few times during the day and now at 7 pm the letter popped up.
 
My husband's interview is October 19th at 6:30 am!  Wow!  That's an early interview date and an early time!!!!  But hopefully the oath ceremony is soon!

My account does not even show I got interview notice and my estimate is currently 7months &. 8 to completion
