You spend more time sat in the waiting room than you do in the actual interview, but the wait was only around 20-25 minutes, they seemed to be calling people in constantly so they get through people very quickly

Trust me, I feel the same about my mum too ... I have invited and applied for visiting visa for her twice and she was denied visa . But now that I'm a USC, no more denial of visas cos I'm definitely filing for her and have her closer to me in Dallas

For those of you who got their cases transferred from California Service Center to the National Benefits Center, has any of you gotten the letter that USCIS mailed?

Supposedly they mailed the letter on Friday, it has been a whole week and I have not received it. How long dies it take? I can mail a letter from coast to coast and it does not take more than 3 days.

Anyways, how many of u, who have had their cases transferred, applied for citizenship already? I did, so I was wondering if they will do a dual interview?

This has exactly happened to my case too! I am scheduled for N400 interview on 9/13 (LA office). I have noticed these updates to my I751 case on exact same dates as yours and I have not received any letter in the mail either. I was told on the phone my I751 is sitting next to my N400 and they are going to be adjudicated together (even though I have received no letter saying I am having a combo interview just yet!). I was hoping the letter (the same letter we didn't receive) would say something about combo interview. After all these updates I have now no clue where my I751 is and if they don't have it for N400 interview, I am going through more pain and waiting.

This is what I sent to my wife's HR Dept and it cleared things up. You need the expired Greencard, extension letter and a government ID like a driver's license.

I have attached chapter 7.1 from the USCIS Hanbook for Employers (M-274) that verifies the documents she has submitted are sufficient for employment. The entire handbook is here: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/handbook-employers-m-274

The most relevant portions are here:

Employees must be allowed to choose which document(s) they will present from the Lists of Acceptable Documents. You cannot specify which document(s) an employee must present. Employees who attest to being an LPR in Section 1 may choose to present a List A document (such as a Permanent Resident Card, Form I-551) or a List B and List C document combination

The combination of an expired Permanent Resident Card and a Form I-797, Notice of Action, that indicates that the card is valid for an additional year, is an acceptable List C evidence of employment authorization for one year as indicated on Form I-797. At the end of the one-year period, you must reverify.
So the combination of her unexpired Texas driver’s license (Type B document) and the Greencard + Extension Letter (Type C) satisfy the requirements of the employment eligibility. The USCIS is really backed up so every single person who has a marriage green card gets one of these letters while the case is processed.

Hey guys, I just checked my case, on April 5th we mailed a request for additional evidence for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence. So at least I got some kind of updates...just don’t know what they need yet. Does anyone knows How long it usually take for them to approve the case after I send the evidence back to USCIS?
