    Congrats!

Was your case transferred to the "local office" on the new uscis website (https://myaccount.uscis.gov/)?

I tried making an account on there a few weeks ago and wasn't able to, it said it couldn't prove my identity... I used https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Congratulations! Did you apply in the beginning of month or in the middle/end? And do you have kids? Thanks

Near the middle of August. No kids, just cats lol. We rent an apartment, joint bank accounts, pictures with family members, chat logs. We also work for the same company, not sure if that mattered to them

I'm signed up for text notifications and never received anything. I decided to check the tracker on a whim and was pleasantly surprised :)

Hello everyone! Everyone's timeline is looking great so far..I am a little bit concerned about mine:

Wednesday 8/14 - Documents sent (to AZ location)

Saturday 8/17 - USPS delivery confirmation

and that's it..:) Wondering if it is normal or anybody else has also similar timeline. Looking back; We did not write ATTN: I-751 on the package, maybe we should have?

    Thank you in advance!

We didn't write that on the package and got the extension letter last week

You get a stamp in your passport as proof of your legal status in the country if you for some reason don't have a greencard.

For instance if your greencard gets lost you can get a stamp while waiting for your new greencard (it can take up to a year to replace your greencard), or if your greencard had some errors and you had to send it back you can get a stamp. So those who have a greencard or have a greencard coming their way won't get a stamp, they will just be told to wait until the physical greencard shows up. To get a stamp you need to provide USCIS with proof that you have a pending application (that you ordered a new card etc).

You get a stamp by making an infopass.

I see, thank you! I don't think i'll be doing it anytime soon, my nearest office is 4hrs away...
