Aus2072 got a reaction from Nikol993 in RFE I-864- Assets question- only sent bank letter
We got the same: Though my husband(petitioner) met 125% of the poverty guideline for our household size but we still got a RFE.
We submitted- W2's(tax return), 12months of bank statements, We also submitted a letter from his employer...
don't know if this helps you.
I don't know if we got approved or not.. still waiting for the letter to arrive...

Aus2072 reacted to MsDDD in Got RFE - USCIS mistake?
Unfortunately there is no way to communicate directly except for the phone. Call again, but ask about your status with the number given on the invitation for fingerprints to get information exactly for your case, not common words like "I filed in time and they sent RFE...". When person will answer about status as RFE, Say the day of your GC expiration, read what is written in RFE. What they will say? If this will not help go to infopass.
Sorry about. But this clearly shows that we are at the mercy of human factor, where mistakes are possible and unfortunately we depend on someone.

Do you know I had a feeling if you were to reply it would be a reply like that. To that end its pointless to continue with this thread as I pretty much understand your empathy levels. Just like my reply to you has no direct correlation to the initial post neither did your original post.
Since you've made yourself the "posting police" please rate my reply to you as "out of order".
Ps take a look at the hundreds of posts on here that are not fact based... The posts that encourage others, console others, humour others...
So as the great Rafa Benitez once alluded to.. Not everything is so black and white... Fact!!

Sent everything off March 30th and arrived April 2nd. Taking a look at the previous months, looks like some are even getting green cards before EAD and AP are even processed. Of course, they're the lucky few, but who knows!
I really just want to be able to work more than anything. I don't know about you guys, but I've been here 2.5 months and can't wait to earn some money and have something to do!

Yes you need AFP since you were in Australia for over 6 months.
When applying make sure you list all your alias names used whilst here. I had issues with that.
your purpose: applicant resides overseas and for overseas visa.
the one you want is https://afpnationalpolicechecks.converga.com.au/

Aus2072 reacted to NikLR in Family shipping fiance his possessions after entrance on K1?
Normally people bring their belongings with them. It's significantly cheaper to pay for extra bags as the airport than to ship an item. For instance I was going to ship my husband his telescope. The cheapest i could ship it was $127. But taking it as an extra bag was at most $50.
I came down in back uhaul and others use u packs or pods. Some people wait until they can travel again.
However he can do what he wants but he needs to itemize the list of shipped items extensively including their value. He needs this form.

Cover More do travel insurance for immigrants up to 12 months of coverage. I took out cover with them cause ive used them every time ive travelled, I took out 4 weeks coverage for myself and my daughter, and was told that if I need to extend that until I can get on my fiancé's health insurance that its not a problem at all.
    Highly recommend them.

Just to update - case was touched late afternoon on the 28/10.
Can only assume this indicates them adding the document to my file.
So 2.5 days from when Australia Post reported delivery for anyone who might be interested in such things in the future.

I recently got approved at the interview in Sydney. When I got the visa I realised my nationality was printed wrong so I had to send it in for correction. I sent it to the address on the website I. E. Martin place mlc centre but the delivery was redirected to alexandria in NSW. Is this right? Am terrified right now, I called up Australia post to confirm and they said it was indeed redirected. Has anyone mailed their documents to Sydney embassy before? Is this how they work?
