Hi every one ,I got rife yesterday ..I am little confused as they said that our income can't meet the poverty guideline .

We sent every thing at the first place ..

Tax return 2014,2015

W2 past 5 years

Bank letter ( tho we don't have much money in it)

Work letter ..saying full time job make over 40 k per annum

Lease of apt.

Insurance ...everything we send them

& now the letter says we can't meet the criteria ..

I am so frustrated what they need ??

I got my RFIE yesterday for the I-864.

They're asking for proof of the petitioners income, which we'll send

Second point is all the supporting documentation for the most recent tax year (I didn't include the W2 because we didn't have it at the moment of sending it)

The third one is the one I'm curious. They're asking for assets/joint sponsor. Now in the first checked mark it says that the income listed is sufficient, but there's no proof of that. And I know they have standard check marks to write/ask for. My curiosity is: if we send proof of income and the supporting tax documents, we wouldn't have to send/look for a joint sponsor. I saw similar posts but the people got joint sponsor anyway. We don't need one. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks ?

RFIE - return for initial evidence... RFE - return for evidence... There self explanatory RFIE is for initial evidence that is mandatory for you to submit that was not included like taxes or translation of birth certificate... RFE can be they just want more evidence to add to what you already sent it or you forgot a signature on paperwork or something

Any different from RIFE. Or is it a form of RFE ? Where they may need anything ?

My cases are not working when I search them nor when I try to add them to my account. Does the account need to be under the USC or non USC?

I am the USC and I have an account from when I did the i129F.

I myself really don't know how people can see if someone touch the case..as only thing I know is USCIS website ..but it didn't show anything but only the date when they recurve the case...

So I'm also waiting here for someone to reply andexplain how this gonna work

When you go to the uscis website(it doesnt work on the apps to track your case with) you can create an account, and there you can add your cases. Whenever there is a hard touch on your case you can sign up for notifications either through email or text. When there is a soft touch you won't know unless you check daily by logging in on your uscis account and looking at the date of the last update. The text still says the same "on june 21st we received your... and so on and so on" but the last update shows 7/25/2016 which means nothing more than someone touched it. It could be that my files got moved to another desk, but since it's all 3 I suppose my biometrics results came back from the FBI, or something a bit bigger than just being moved to another desk. The downsite to these soft touches is that you have no idea what they are until you get a hard touch (where the status changes to rfe was sent, or ready to schedule interview etc). I can take a screenshot for you later if you want to explain it a bit clearer but I'm on my phone atm

Yes, you can go and TRY if your local office will allow WALK-IN. You might be successful, you might be told no.

And yes, you need that letter with you regardless. It also says on the letter what you need to bring with you.

if some one is being kind enough to answer ,i wanted to know if once we have a 'biometric letter' in hand and its appointment date is like 3 weeks away.Can we still go WALK IN to our local office and ask for biometric get done,before the set biometric date in appointment letter?and if yes,,dont they need to see the appointment letter?which has later date after 3 weeks?
