Also, not to far from there is the National History Museum which for me was a great adventure in learning the culture and the history of the PI. Then of course you have Sea World across from Rizzel Park. When you are in the park you got to use one of the Comfort Rooms. You have a stand up urinal and you are basically outdoors with Bamboo trees and vegetation just on the other side of the urinal. Do worry, it's still in an enclosure not to be seen from the outside.
Was at Rizal Park (Luneta) last week. Enjoyed the lights and sound show - dancing fountains.

Op original post if I read correct was denied K1 because of 212(a)(5)(A). This is inadmissibilty due to labor certification. Sounds like she said she was coming here to work.

That some get by with little or no evidence is not reason to advise others to try to do the same. A US Citizen marrying in the Philippines is evidence of at least two weeks spent together in person. (Unless the USC is also a Philippine Citizen)
Not advising anything of the kind. 4 of the 6 paragraphs adressing evidence: joint property, joint lease agreements, joint financial accounts, and affidavits are all too often discounted from what I have seen on this site. IMHO
Instructions say to send one or more....... providing clear and convincing evidence.
The OP asking about joint llc (evidence) IMHO

The question is not one of whether the US Citizen thinks they are in a bona fide relationship. It's about the foreigner. Evidence you are providing financial assistance can actually work against you. Focus on evidence of time spent together in person and examples of how and how frequently you communicate.
Agree to disagree. We provided financials tho meager, photos, wedding invitation, and NO other evidence of time together or communication.

Don't muddy the waters. There are plenty of other simple things you can include as evidence (not proof - that's impossible) of a bona fide marriage. Time spent together is the best evidence of all. Focus on that.
Can you update your timeline?
POD and TOD are options for bank account and vehicle titles.

Adam Walsh is a different critter that running a business in the Philippines. To get off the black list I think he would need to get off the Adam Walsh list.
International Megan's Law 2017. RSO are now getting passports stamped when issued that they are an RSO. Automatic blacklist to Philippines.

I didn't get married in the Phils, but it is my understanding that the marriage certificate must be recorded at the local registrar for where you were married. Getting married in the town where her relative is mayor could help get things done quicker.
We had the Mayor do our ceremony.

Hello All!
I understand the the Cr-1/Ir-1 Immigrant visa's are valid for 6 months. My question is it valid for 6 months after the interview, the date it is issued or after the medical exam?
I have read it say all 3 different things online.
Thank you
IV expires on date will be on visa. 6 months from start date of medical exam.

that take for ITIN only or for getting tax return done?
In our case we filed w7 with ammended return. took about 4 weeks to get ITIN notice and 8 weeks more before we got the tax return. If you are getting a return it will be a paper check with both names on it.

I don’t think you can do that with any bank. They need to be there.
My bank said must be present, but when main branch was provided ITIN was allowed to add to account. Credit Union added her to account with ITIN and sent her debit card before her arrival.

Good morning all! My husband will be having his interview on 1/29/2018. I marked off the option for him to be sent a SSN on his IV application so he can expect that in the mail some time in February. My question is, can we go ahead and file income taxes for 2017 using his new SSN or do we still need to use his ITIN? Any input is appreciated
You can use the ITIN, then when he gets his SSN notify IRS.

Photos are important, the CO may not keep them but the photos are looked at, and are listed in the embassy instructions letter. Many times the Filipino pre-screener has looked at the photos and the CO has read his/her notes.
Interviewer did ask when my last visit was and asked for photos from that visit, which she had brought with her.

Was in DEERS for two years before getting my SSN.

Hi. Does St.Lukes do flu vaccine during the medical procedure? I do not know if I had or not. I do not have my papers anymore to check it out.
Im going to do a flu shot here in US soon. But i need to make sure i didnt have any yet when I was in the Philippines.
Thanks.
Check your visa for Annotations: 212 (g) (2) (B) waiver for incomplete inoculation. The only immunization I did not recieve was the flu shot and my visa was annotated with the waiver.

Hi, just wondering if I should use wife's married name on i-130 (cr1) while she waits for the NSO marriage certificate.?The NSO copy is what's needed to officially change her name on her passport. Will this cause any issues? They say she should have NSO by 9/14/17
Will also need CFO certificate to change to married name on passport.

Not sure where you picked up that quote or where the OP's wife heard it was 5 months but 2 years ago the policy was that the immigrant had to transit a POE within 6 months of the medical completion date. The visa limit is based on the medical date not interview date.
Re positive skin, negative chest.... Your county health dept. will be contacting you within a month of his arrival for follow-up. They may take another x-ray which will probably be negative also. They will also offer you a 4 or 12 month treatment program that must be completed at a medical facility before declaring him tb free. Ask them to do blood workup first which should find him tb free without any additional treatment. Exact same scenario for my step-daughter. Make sure you get a certificate from them for his future proof.
6 months from start of medical. The date SLEC stamps the passport.
