  1. Hi everyone!!

OMG, it has been ages since I've commented on here. I need to catch up with all you guys!!

I want to comment, that my husband got APPROVED, last Tuesday 11/24/15. Thank God!

We got our package 3 days after his interview. He will do point of entry until January, since we decided to spend Christmas in Mexico, with our families.

I cannot express how thankful I am for this forum, and the support!!

May God Bless all of you! And wishing you all the best on your journeys. And I hope you guys have wonderful holidays!! (F)(L)

  2. For the interview, do you really need originals AND copies? I don't understand why it says to bring originals and photocopies... :(

Hi Daniel, you MUST present Originals at the Interview! The officer who is giving you the interview (most likely) will ask you for them. The reason is that the Officer that is conducting the interview would like to have in hand the Original Certificate. For example, Birth, Marriage, Police, etc. It could be just to check out the validity of the case. (don't know for sure).. The photocopies of the Originals are to be taken because the Officer might decide to keep them, and return the Originals to you.

It is recommended that whatever you have sent to USCIS and NVC must be presented in the interview, both Originals and Photocopies, plus anything else that states on your interview letter (P4). That way you are over prepared for anything the Officer might ask you for. (The can truly ask for ANY document, and ask ANY question they want). Good luck to you! :)

  3. Praise God!!!

He has been great throughout this visa journey. My wife was approved for immigrant visa today, while I waited outside the consulate in Mumbai. The consulate experience lasted less than one hour! It will be a few days for the visa to arrive at pickup location.

I hope that all of us Feb filers will be granted the mercy that God has bestowed upon us.

There was an Indian officer who asked questions about the petitioner address, whether beneficiary has been to US, about petitioners job, who is calling beneficiary to the US, simple questions. There was an American officer who asked about who is calling my wife to the US, husband's age, husband's birthday, husband's degree, husband's current job, current whereabouts, her degree, whether she is happy in the marriage, after which he said visa was approved. :D

Hi Jayisis!! I am so happy your journey has ended!! With a happy end, of course! Glad to start seeing those fellow Feb filers start posting about their interview experiences already!! I hope you have a wonderful life, now with the companionship of your wife! -_-

Keep praying for us who are still waiting for NVC approvals, and for those of us who are about to encounter that awaited Interview!!

  4. Hi Everyone,

I just want to thank everyone for the support! I'm probably going to sound bias...but I do believe this is the best support group at VJ ;) hehe. I cannot believe our journey is about to come to an end. I have previously mentioned that I got my interview date when I called NVC on October 1st. Well....today I am so happy to announce I got the Interview Letter (P4) via Email this morning!! I am just so very very happy! :D

And I want to wish everyone the very best!! God is good and has perfect times for everyone! God bless us all! (F)

  5. Congrats!! My husband and I stayed at La Quinta for like $50/night and really enjoyed it. Most of the hotels in CDJ I have heard good things about so I don't think you can go wrong :)

Thank you! La Quinta seems very popular! I am tempted on booking there! But, I feel it is just a bit too far from the consulate. Will be looking for one closer! Yes, you are right, others have very good things to say about the other hotels. Thanks for your input! :)

  6. Wow, things took off for you. I am glad you have gotten an interview. September was good, October has been better, and I hope November will be even better.

CONGRATS!!! Looks like mexico is moving fast, great news, best wishes to you and your family :)

    Amazing news. Congrats!!!

Congratulations. And awwww you are so welcome. It's my pleasure. :goofy:

Thank you so much everyone!! I cannot thank VJ members and admins enough for what you guys do to guide and support us!

  8. Found it. Citados al consulado en Cd Juarez

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/611309542265595/

Oh okay! That is exactly the one I am following. As soon as you mentioned it, I search for it, and that one came up! I have already helped a few people on there! :D I am thinking not a lot of them know about VisaJourney, I gave them the link maybe they will come join this awesome website..who knows! But I am glad to share with them what I learn here. And possibly I can learn things there I may not find here and share them here. Thank you, for taking your time to find other tools outside of VJ to help us with our process.! :)

  9. Just got off the phone after calling. They told me the same thing. That they can't really tell with emails, that they can't see anything and that it can take 30 days to review (this guy said 30 not 35 like the ladt guy). They he told me to try and call back next week.

I'm really worried something happened and they never got my emails with the packets.

I was just hoping by now they could say something about if they even have them.

Wow...just reading your post. I am sorry about this. I really hope your situation gets resolved fast.

  10. Keep an eye on that group for Mexico on Facebook. There's always announcements should be hopefully forth coming. Hang on people.

Thanks for the tip! I had not idea there was a group on Facebook about the embassy in Ciudad Juarez Mexico!

Another tip I want to contribute to those who are waiting interviews in Mexico, is that there are Youtube videos on people sharing live footage of the location of the US Consulate!

It really helps a lot to see what buildings/hotels are around. I have been just going to Google Maps and try to see it through there, it does help, however, it is very outdated! Gotta say, it never cross my mind to look in YouTube, but in a Google search, I came across various videos! Kinda cool, if you want to give yourself an idea of what to expect when you are there. ;)

  11. Well France they are announcing your November dates. Someone with CC 9/25 (goodness that was 5 days ago) just got November. It is not an expedite.

And nope haven;t heard anything about anyone else.

That's great news!! I will start calling NVC for interview announcements on Friday for Mexico.... only two more days! I decided I will start calling every Friday starting Oct. 2nd... I don't want to drive myself crazy by calling everyday. Maybe the second week, I could increase my calls to every other day.. we shall see!! After this process, I have managed to have some self control. haha. I am sooo looking forward to the November thread!! Tomorrow is the day!! Wooohoooo! :joy:

Thanks for all you do for us VJ members! You rock!! :star:

  12. Well they asked

    Why did u married her

    When did u meet her

How many times did u had sex

    When did ur parents died

    Who was there in wedding

She didn't saw.anything.. Entire time typed and typed

I am quite surprised that they asked you about your sex life...I guess we should all be prepared to ANY QUESTIONS!! Literally!

I do have a question for you though, I went into your profile and read your story about you and your wife. I came to the conclusion (from reading it) that you possibly got married to her on her first visit? I came to that conclusion, since you state on your story "Her 2nd Visit was on 24-05-15" which was this year.. correct? and you got married in 2014 (her first visit)? Please correct me if I am wrong.

  13. Hi everyone!

I haven't posted much on here, I am also waiting for my interview to get scheduled. I got my CC 9/17/15, I really hope I can get a November interview, maybe I should be more realistic and aim for a December interview... I decided I will start calling NVC again this Friday 10/2/15, and ask for any updates...mainly if there's an interview scheduled for me. I just saw someone with an interview date for November 4th, for Ciudad Juarez embassy, which is the one my husband will be going to. But I also saw that this person's case got expedited. So, I am thinking that was the reason for seeing a November interview already scheduled.

In another note, I am sooo looking forward to the November 2015 Interview Thread!! Just a few days away! :D

And for those having their interviews in October Best of Luck! Please share your experiences in the new thread, we will be looking forward on reading them! :)
