Congrats!!!
May I ask if the notice was sent through email or text, or you went on the website to check?

I was worried at first, too! But it seems lots of cases were transfered to the local offices on April 9th, maybe they are trying to spread out the cases to spead up.
They didn't invite me for an interview, my online status changed from transfered to local office directly to card is being produced.
Congrats!!
Thank you for sharing the good news!!!
May I ask you where do you live now or where is your local office?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I am asking for help to see if I should go ahead to apply for N400 or just wait?
I am a 2017 May filer and still waiting for the 10 year green card. I will be eligible to apply for N-400 next month.
However, I have two travel plans:
1) I am going to Japan in September 2018 while my current passport need to start to apply for visas to Japan starting in June;
2) I am going to India in Jan 2019 and I will also need to apply for visas to India starting in Nov 2018.
Considering bio-metrics/interviews/test/oath ceremony etc after applying for N400 might happen between these travel dates,
I really appreciate advice! Thank you ahead!

Well, our case got transferred to local office as well on Feb. 26th. Is this now bad or good? Looks like interview is coming up? I always thought that local offices does not handle that kind of applications...
Thanks for sharing!
How did you get to know your case has been transferred? Did you call in?

They just took my green card away directly and telling me "either keep your expired green or get a stamp". I should have filed a complaint

Has nothing to do with Trump. We went 3 years ago when my wife was denied and detained. Stop throwing blame when you have no proof or factual information. First of all it's the Mexican gov. that is requiring those document, NOT the U.S. and Pres. Trump. They want their citizens to flow freely to the U.S. but if you dare cross their border illegally and get caught you'll wish you hadn't for a very long time.
You are here because obviously you are trying to obtain a Visa or status LEGALLY. This process and everybody on here wouldn't have to wait years if our borders were secure and there weren't so many ILLEGALS flooding the U.S. systems and slowing them down.
Sorry apology for saying that!

HI All,
Thanks for everyone's insights. Here's my dilemma, My Letter of extension expires May 23, 2018 and I am traveling to Mexico and coming back on May 20th. Do you think I will have a problem? Anybody here have experienced the same situation?
Thanks.
https://consulmex.sre.gob.mx/sanfrancisco/index.php/visas-traveling-to-mexico
US Residents: If your United States visa stamped on your passport already expired but you have an official document proving your legal status in USA, you must apply for a Mexican visa (I-797 A Forms, Advance Parole Forms, I-20 OR DS-2019 Forms won’t be accepted to entering Mexico), unless you have a valid Visa for any of the countries listed above (Canada, Japan, United Kingdom or Schengen area).
All because of Trump's stupid wall.

Hi everyone,
I am currently at the pending status of remove conditional permanent residency while I want to apply for 30-year term life insurance (not medical insurance) besides the group term life insurance provided from work.
Does anyone have experiences in this aspect that if the application will get approved?
Really appreciate your input!

Hi everyone, I have a question that will need help:
I applied on May 30, 2017 and got an I-551 stamp with the expiration time on Aug 22, 2018. I have booked a trip to Japan in Sep 15, 2018 while Japan consulate requires applying visa 3months ahead(June 15th, 2018) and holding a US visa status longer than 1 year.
So
1) If I can get my GC in June 2018, I think I am fine with applying Japan visa;
2) If not, what should I do?
- Make an appointment with USCIS and ask for another stamp? Will they?
I am quite worried about the timeline doesn't work that at last my plane tickets will be a waste so appreciate your advice. Thank you ahead!

GC + Extension letter = List A perm resident card.
That's what I submitted at last. Not sure if it will pass

You mentioned it expires in August. If it has not expired yet, just the GC, otherwise GC+NOA letter.
Yes, but the work starts in September , so they will need I-9 form in September, when it expired

Drivers license and unrestricted SS card
Thank you for answering!
Does that mean I need to go to SSN department to update my SSN with the greencard and NOA letter?

Thank you for answering!
Will they collect my green card then?

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your help!!
I got the officer calling back yesterday and fax my biometric letter.
My biometric was actually scheduled today and I just finished the process. The officer in the field office actually print out another (better and clearer) copy for me and completed all the fingerprints.
Very thankful that made the call yesterday and getting tips and suggestions from this forum.

Called USCIS customer service today and spent so much time "asking" (more like begging) to raise to Tier-2 officer for my missing biometric letter.
At last turned out to leave phone number and they will call back.
Not sure if they really will call back??
Also set up an INFOpass appointment tomorrow. Does anyone know if it is possible to get a biometric letter from infopass and do fingerprints there?
Hopefully worthy of the 1hr round trip drive!

That's good. What's the number of Vermont Service Center?
I think I should call too

On Friday we received an informed delivery notice showing a letter from USCIS. I assume it is my husband's biometric notice. I reported it as missing mail to the post office but they indicated it is unlikely they will be able to locate it. We are going to call USCIS on Monday. Does anyone know if I can call (us citizen) or does my husband need to call? Thanks
I called the customer service and she just hang up my call after cannot locate the case number... lol
So I just made an appointment with the field office instead...

@youzhiyuan9394 That is exactly what I got last Saturday so that is biometrics appointment. Just click the not received box underneath that image so that USPS will be informed that you did not received it.
Yes, I have clicked that to indicate that I didn't receive it. But it seems USPS's FAQ shows they probably won't be able to find the missing mail anyway.
Therefore I made an appointment with the office although the earliest day is 06/27/2017 already.
Maybe I should call USCIS customer service too

Does it show what looks like a partial QR code on the right edge of the address window (as shown on my attached pic below)? If it does, then it is indeed the biometrics appt letter.
Our experience with USPS Informed Delivery has been quite different. The day my wife's biometric letter came, there was no snapshot of this letter in that day's Informed Delivery email and the letter just showed up in our mailbox.
Either you or your husband can call. But it is better than your husband does because if you call, they will ask if your husband is there when you talk to them. And remember, he is the applicant and you're the petitioner.
Mine is just like this...
What should I do?

I had the same situation!
I received the informed delivery notice on Sat morning. But not that mail received on Sat and Mon though my other Monday received.
Please keep me posted how your call goes!

I went to the local DMV to renew my driving license today and I am located in Salem NH. So I would like to share my experience.
Here was my situation:
1) I applied driving license in MA in 06/2015 with 5 year valid date as I came here on F1 visa;
2) I transferred my driving license from MA to NH in 09/2015 and they have gave me two year valid based on my conditional permanent residency, which is expiring in 08/2017;
And I applied to remove condition in 06/2017 and received the regular I-797C letter of extending one year this month and went to renew my driving license.
What I have brought:
1) Green Card;
2) Driving license;
3) Extension letter;
Here are what they told me(they are very nice):
1) I can keep using my current license until 08/2017;
2) DMV will mail me an new card in 08/2017 without charging me renewing fee;
3) Next year when I get the 10-yr green card or citizenship, I can just go back and update information.
I am pretty happy with that I don't need to pay extra to get a new driving license and will update if I receive my renewed driving license.
