Does anyone know if they run a credit check for E-Verify? I recently just tried to enroll in that, but I couldn't get my login sorted out. I wonder if that was it?

Yeah it was a "soft" credit check, came up as USCIS IMMIGRATION with a Washington DC address. I didn't save my report, which I definitely should have now that I think of it. I'll have to see if I can view it again.

Hey all! I'm waiting on a 10 year GC (got the 18-month extension letter earlier this year) and have hit 12 months of waiting; I filed in October 2018. USCIS just ran a credit score check at some point this month...? Is this common? I've apparently got a letter coming in the mail from them at some point today, and I have no idea what it could be. I can't seem to find anything on the forum about it, maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.

Thanks! I've updated my info as best I could without digging into my files. GC expired last December 2018. Got the 18 month extension. Traveled on it internationally with no issue. I'll be able to file my N400 before my 10 year GC even exists in my hands! How crazy. Best to everyone still on the journey!

Hey all! Off we go on another adventure! I'm sort of worried because my application was haphazardly put together before my husband deployed, but we've been together 11 years this year so I can't see too much trouble coming from it. Here's hoping its a smooth process; I'll be sending in my N-400 (naturalization) as soon as possible too - sometime next spring.

Hey all!
Looking for a reality check before I go trying to contact USCIS... Received my EAD card already, and since August 9th/2016 my status for AOS is saying "Interview is ready to be scheduled"... but I've yet to receive anything in the mail or see an email about it.
Suggestions? Am I crazy, do I keep waiting?

Just received the text confirmation that my case had been update; I-485 is ready for an interview to be scheduled! This is great, however my husband will be deployed before they'll be able to schedule an interview... Anyone with this same problem, and maybe have some advice? Does he HAVE to be there? SOS What do I do?!

There a little back up with EADs the now so the average approval time for EAD currently is between 85-100days now... Dmv won't entertain you until you get a SSN which you won't have until your EAD arrives
85-100 days? This is devastating to hear... Holy smokes. Hopefully they'll pick that pace up a little...

Hey all!
I'm on this train too, waiting for EAD and AOS. Didn't file for AP, didn't see the need for it.
Anywho, just had biometrics done yesterday (July 20, 2016)) and am waiting again.
We filed the AOS package on June 17th/2016.. I can only hope that we are on the shorter end of things for filing time... I NEED to get back to work.

It's not a matter of transferring information. It's tax and legal matters involved with moving an active business completely from one country to another. Be careful.

I'm hoping that because it's a global company, I'd be able to transfer my information to the US version... Hmm. I may have to contact HQ and see what they say. If not... I think you're right, I may have to shut it down.

I'm in the same boat! Mitsubishi 2014 RVR to import to the USA, and student debt (plus car payments)... We'll be submitting the I-129F next week some time, and this whole car thing has really thrown me for a spin.
I bought the car, brand new, not really anticipating this change of plans. Sooooo, the dealership is saying there'll be no issue because "all you have to do is change the odometer to miles and have it e-tested"... I've emailed Mitsu Canada and Mitsu USA hopefully for more answers as to what I can do. I own the car, but not outright. Thankfully I've financed it through Mitsubishi, and I'm hoping that plays to my advantage....

I'm ALMOST done filling out the I-129F paperwork, but have stumbled across a stumper. Part 2, section 36a and 36 b... I am located in Alberta, and the closes US. consulate to me is in Calgary. However I wasn't aware I would be "filing" anything there... so my question is this: Where am I, the fiancee, "applying for a visa abroad at the American embassy or consulate at"?
I was under the impression that BC/Ontario and Quebec were the only provinces that handled K1 Visa's in Canada?
Help...?

Hey all,
Just over here hanging out with silence on my N-400. Sent in my paper copy back at the beginning of May. I'm in CA, mailed it to AZ like I was supposed to. How are y'all seeing case updates and such? I have a MyUSCIS login, and all I see is that the estimated completion date is January 2021... But I haven't heard a peep, so I can't imagine that to be true.
