  1. your AOS is invalid. Inform INS and proceed with K3 if you are reallly serious.

i believe in LOVE but it should be bilateral. It is symbiontic relationship and not parasite and host relationship .

    best wishes

I feel very sorry to read all this - I remember your previous posts also. I think you can do a K3 now (K1 is used up and you have not done AOS yet.)

But more importantly - do you really want a relationship with him - First he had problems with your daughter/Tax stuff and then now recently -kind of a strange fight and temper tantrum (flying back to India - did he have a return ticket already purchased so didn't care about the relationship?) He is being too melodramatic from my perspective and may be you need to rethink this. Why salvage a bad (or terrible) relationship - look for a better one. Just my thoughts on this. Best wishes

    I agree with Motu.

here is my 2 cents. I feel for you as most on here do. my husband was just like YOURs.

he was indian too. let me tell you. he got here on Cr1 visa. we filed DCf.

when he got here he beat the he11 out of me for 3 weeks. one day he got really pissed because

I would not talk to him. I think maybe he had enough of my silence. while at work he he packed up

his things and abandoned me. I was like you thinking oh maybe i can make this marriage work.

oh maybe i can ignore the beating. oh god maybe I really do love him. oh maybe i can live wiht how he

    is.

one person knew i was getting beat. that was my bestfriend he did it in front of her in the kitchen. :(

I was afraid to tell anyone because, after all i made a big deal my internatonal husband was the best of all men in the world. I could not live with the shame of saying hey I made a mistake - a bad one.

then one day I realized HEY I like my freedom from this animal . I deserve not be be hit.

I deserve to come home and have peace. not come home to an azz beating. you never know what he11 you come home too . I could not live like that no more..

the good news is my ex got deported - I really found someone that loves me for me.

Good news that ex husband deported back to india . what about new love is he from india too?

  2. hi,

it is better to send them together in one envelop and write content of your envelop, with a cover letter. Bu i am seeing that you entered on J1. it is special situation . J1 is exchange visitor visa. and also has certain limitations. So i advise you to consult some body in same situation in this forum or any good attorney.

I have a friend who is j1 and married us citizen. but he has to go back to his native country as part of J1 visa condition.

    Okay best wishes

  3. Hi, I successfully had my biometrics today. I was afraid cause couple of days ago i had wounded my index finger during cooking.

Anyhow I wake up at 7 am in the motning (biometric time 9 am). It is saturday and had a feast like breakfast . and at 8:30 i reached to application support center of Naperville at 8:30. It was beautiful sunny day. On reception i was given a performa to fill and then given token. I waited for 75 minutes and then called by another lady . she asked me to reconfirm my biometric data such as name and address on a computer. I told her that that everything is absolutely fine then . she cleaned my hand with a soloution and took finger prints. it took almost 10 minutes . then she took my photograph and then processed my data. I was set to go then.

People were really nice nad no stress at all . however hall was congested with people and almost no sitting place. I think 100 people were in the hall. It was cozy and i felt asleep a little bit while waiting for my turn. Most important thing for biometrics is valid ID and original notice of action for biometrics.

Anyhow i feel better and best wishes to others in their journey. Now i hope to get my EAD soon . i am running out of money and need to find a job.

  4. Hi,

i married US citizen and recently filed for I 485, I 765, I 130. I am living here in US and currently on visitor visa . I clicked "a" of part 2 of I 485.

    "an immigrant petition............

I hope that is useful.ifthis part is read carefully you will see that it is saying "or a relative"......in second line .

    I hope this helps you

So I think this might refer to what americangirl said, and thank you both very much, but just to clarify, does the "or a relative" part refer to the I-130, Petition for an Alien Relative form that I'll be filling with the I-485?

I wish the forms were more intuitive, I'm worried that if i tick the wrong one something horrible will happen...I know that sounds stupid but I just want to make sure everything will be ok. My husband was born in the US and therefore is a USC from birth and so option B wouldn't apply to me if what americangirl says is right and so I'll check A if that's the general consensus.

    Thanks a million,

    LC

Yes . the "or a relative" part refer to the I-130, Petition for an Alien Relative form that you will be filling with the I-485.

  5. well for each form use one envelop (orange envelop and labe it outside with contants of that envelop) Form and supporting documnet in each envelop should not be stapled , It is better to use a heavy paper clip . and then put both envelpo is USPS bigger envelop and send them.

this is the way i did and it worked. Moreover include PAYMENT accordingly in each envelop separately money order or check.
