  1. Nothing on our case so far. My husband has made an info pass for EAD today, since they haven't touched it even once. I'll update you after he gets back

I wish you guys good luck.

Ok this is what the NYC office told my husband. We have stopped working on EADs from Oct 1st in this office. After he showed all the employment offers and then deniels because of no EAD Or GC the officer called his supervisor who told him that his case is at Missouri SC. He will email the Missouri office and ask them to expedite my husband's case. He then said they get email reply from Missouri in three days and then it takes ten more days to issue EAD. Finally, there is some light in the very long tunnel

  2. Thank you so much guys you are wonderful. I'm feeling very very better now.

Jeeleebee you are so full of hope though our timeline is almost same, I feel so encouraged

God bless you all, I really love you

Update on my car: its still at the mechanics. He said brakes were good but the master cylinder broke which caused brakes not to respond. And also two brake pads melted. My husband was feeling guilty, but he did it in unawarness. Now everything is good. I'M SO FULL OF HOPE. LET'S GO CSC

  3. This process is getting very depressing. There is no update on my husband's case since Sept 20th. The problem is he is a foreign medical graduate and this is the time when they apply for residency here in the United States to get a license to practice medicine. Eventhough, he doesn't have a GC or an EAD we still gammbled and applied for over 200 positions which cost us arround $3500. Yesterday, he got an interview call but the first thing they asked was 'fax us a copy of your GC'. His career is at a risk, what should we do? Its hard for foreign graduats to get into a good residency program and once he losses this oppurtunity I don't know if it will even happen to us again.

There is another thing just happend two hours ago. My huband always drove a stick shift car back home. He has a habbit of pulling up my car's hand brake at the end of the ride eventhough he is sitting on the passenger side. I'm not used to it so sometimes I forget to put is back when I drive. I didn't realize it when I was driving to work this morning unti I smelled the smoke coming out of my car's wheels. Then I saw the emergency brake light flashing and I put the brake back on its place. As soon as I did that my cars brakes failed to work and I couldn't slow down or stop it. I panicked and for a split second I thought I am going to smash my car in the boundry wall. Fortunately, I was near an exit and I went out of the highway I applied the hand brake again and rubbed the wheels against the curb which helped. It was horrifying, I'm still crying. I hate this immigration process. I'm tired and I was to get out of it.

  4. It's feeling like your case got sucked into a black hole whereas other people who filed after you already got a decision or at least a touch...after all, we were transferred to CSC to "expedite processing", at least that's what my NOA letter said...so i think when your case is going slow compared to others who were transferred you can whine in this thread from time to time

that's just my humble opinion

YES, people who got transfered way after us are approved first... another friday is gone and now a long weekend for CSC... Its OK i can wait
