Thank you, I'm mailing out the package on her behalf (they have signed it). It should go to Vermont service center since her US residence is in NY. I once again want to make sure that her presence in the US is not necessary through this whole process?
Thanks in advance

Hi.
My sister got married outside the US and she doesn't plan on coming back until her husband is approved for a visa. Here are the questions she is concerned about.
1. Can she file I 130 while living abroad?
2. If yes, which address should she write as her permenant address, the local US embassy told her she should write the US add, since she is on a visit visa to that country.
3. Can someone else mail the petition for her in the US while she is abroad?

There's a fly that's been buzzing around my house for the last three days and it's driving me crazy. I've tried to swat it but it's too fast for me. Any suggestions??? I'm going nuts here.
turn all the lights off and open the window, flies don't like to stay in dark. OR spray it with windex and then kill it when it falls on the floor- always works for me.

We just got Indian mangoes here. A box is for 40 dollars containing 10 mangoes making one for 4 dollars

Don't worry about step2. My husband found it easier than step1. He took less time preparing for step2 as compare to step 1. You will get away with flying colors. Good luck

You will have to do a three years residency before getting a medical license to practice.

My husband got his green card in the mail today (yay!), so it's all official. I was really worried about a last-minute foul-up, but CSC pulled through this time.
I don't plan to disappear anytime soon, and I hope to see lots more approvals around here soon.
My husband also recieved his green card on March 9th:) such a relief.
GO CSC

Hi
I personally know someone who adjusted status during removal process and he went through it fine. As long as you have strong reasons you will get through it. Well, this particular person over stayed his visit visa and then married a US citizen and adjusted status.

Thanks Ridley and Kaffy..
Honestly, I'm so used to seeing kaffy's name under my name on waiting list and I hope she is next to me on approval list as well. Fingers crossed for you Kaffy, toches are good.

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.
On March 2, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
Can someone explain ADIT process to me please?
Thank you, Thank you... damn I'm so happy

WOW Ridley CONGRATS.....

Thanks Ridley, I hope they don't ask us for another fingerprints again.

Is this a regular format when they recieve you RFE response. I'm worried about the fingerprints and interview parts.
Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.
On February 28, 2007, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

My husband had just finished his medical school abroad. So he was studying for his MLEs (American borad exams for foreign medical graduates).
-
I'm definately jealous, Congrats

Eventhough we submitted I-693 (a) vaccination supplement, we still got an RFE for medical exam. This system sucks, some people get away with it without even sending vaccination supplement and others are being asked twice.

Thanks alot kitkat1

Thanks Mary. I'm asking this for a frined of mine who is going through K1. Her fiance will be doing his medical exam in Merida, Mexico. This link works for US zip codes only.

Thanks alot Ridely. Our Rfe looked somewhat like yours except the pregnant part. I called misinfo line and they told us to do the whole medical again because they have lost it. My husband has already made an appointment for saturday. We really don't have time to go to an infopas. Hopefully it will work out for you and for us.
Employment authorization for spouse of permanent resident?
in Bringing Family Members of Permanent Residents to America
Posted
Hello everybody,
I have a couple of questions. I have a 5 year multiple visit visa to USA.
Q1) Would I get an Employment Authorizaton Document (EAD) if I marry a permanent resident of USA during a visit?
Q2) If yes, approximately how much time does it normally take in this case, to get the EAD?
A quick response would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Khan.
