  1. Thanks! a little bit more patience JohnWendy and you are almost there too. I keep telling myself that everytime i see people who got approved on K1 who submitted their application later than ours. G was off by 20 days. i guess CSC is trying to make up to us now :)

    Torito, Raquel... congrats !!!!!!!!!

We should be soon as we were a week before you guys... this is the week.... I feel it !

  2. Hi Racquel, will keep in touch, hope we will get approval this month. I'm frustrated the waiting time is so long. By the way, where are you in Phils.? Can I add you as a friend? Thank you for responding to my post. God bless

sure you can add me. i think frustrated is such an understatement for us right now. i always get into a fight with my husband because of this waiting. our lives are put on hold and it depresses both of us a lot. i'm from binmaley, pangasinan. where is your wife from?

  3. Has anyone been allowed to have their medical during saturday and sunday at St. Lukes? I don't want my daughter to be away for school for 2-3 days because of travel time.

No you can't but you can go there just after 12 noon which may help.

Be advised the fees are now $145 US [pay in pesos] for you and $117 for anak.

Best to do the medical AT LEAST 2 weeks before your scheduled interview date. Sooner if you can.

12 noon on saturday or weekdays? thanks for that quick reply and the info about the new fees. i guess the increase is brought about by the decrease in the peso value of dollar

  4. I was talking to a consulate in Manila and they do not allow the fiance in the room with the person being interviewed. This was relayed to me only two days ago... or on the 23rd of September!

I copied that post from the K1-subforums. Anyone who will have their interview with their USC partner, can you please confirm?

  5. i asked that question too from the NSO employee where i got my cenomar before my 2nd marriage. he said its the way cenomars are printed and i should present the nso annotated mc with annulment remarks to correct the cenomar. he added that all the marriages that i have will reflect on the cenomar.

  6. where are you from? fancy gowns are way cheaper in divisoria. you can choose what designs you want in their magazine and the fabric that they are going to use. it can range from 5-8 thousand pesos but from what i heard from co-workers it may even be cheaper than that.

  7. why cant epiphany lay it all out? they got approved on their visa anyway. i just hope he gives more details cause it will really help a lot. but instead he got offended on what people said about his post. epiphany people are sooo very curious about what happen but then you can't provide the answers so people are pissed off. so will you please give the details like the people does here everytime they are done with the interview?

  8. I was told by the guard at NSO East Avenue, Q. C. that all transactions pertaining to annulment, late registration, or any other corrections on MC & BC should be done there. There is a separate place and different staff to handle all those stuff there. So to find out if the guard was telling the truth, I got my annotated MC in East Avenue(it took me 3 weeks to apply and get a copy). After a month I got another copy of MC in NSO Dagupan City,Pangasinan(my home province). The guard was right. The copy I got in Dagupan City is not updated I am still married but the copy I got from East Avenue has annotation that it has been annulled.

  9. if she knows how to go to makati city hall, they issue NSO birth certificates there. i went there myself and the girl said at the frontdesk it will only take 30 mins to an hour to wait. i dont have the time to wait back then so i didnt fill up the forms and left.

  10. Hello,

A friend of mine tried to get a copy of her annulment paper from the court (because she never received the copy) but she was advised to pay P15,000.

    - Is it true that to get a copy of Certificate of Finality from the court, the requestor has to pay P15,000? Her fiance will be filing K-1 visa application soon and she needs this document.

    - to get an annotated copy of her Marriage certificate (from previous marriage), will NSO accept photocopy of the Annulment decree, photocopy of Finality and photocopy of Certificate of registration.

    - Where can she get the Certificate of registration?

    - How long does it take for NSO to release the annotated MC?

    Thanks.

You should get the name of that court employee and report it to Imbestigador! Anyway i only paid mine for 350 pesos or i thinks its 500(i have a receipt for that) plus another 500 pesos and a box of cake for the employee who helps me with the papers i needed. I can't remember but i have the receipt somewhere. The Clerk of Court will have to notarize the Certificate of Finality and have it stamped & signed "Certified True Copy" so that is the one you are going to pay. NSO & Local Civil Registrar will need the certified true copy so your friend needs to ask multiple of copies. Your friend should ask her Local Civil Registrar where to get the Certificate of Registration. Oh and she needs to ask endorsement letter addressed to NSO in East Avenue from her Local Civil Registrar so that she can file the annotated MC. It took me 2 weeks to get my annotated MC from the day i filed at the NSO. You should tell your friend not to forget the Annulment Decree cause that is the most important document they will ask at the US embassy aside from the Court Decision. I have read posts here before that they will not ask for the Certificate of Registration at the US embassy but I have it anyway. You can PM me if you have further questions. I'll be glad to help.
