  1. I was approved on 9/7 and the NVC still does not have my f'ing file. What do you people suggest I do?

Right you call the USCIS and find the date that your file was sent.. not the date it was completed but the actual date it was transfered!.. do you have this ?

Once you have confirmed the date it was actually sent, all you can do is keep calling the NVC to see if a case number has been assigned yet. Ask them about what to do if they dont recieve the file

    Good luck !

Uhh, how do you find out if your file was sent to NVC? does it actually said anywhere?

  2. Awww man, I just got off the phone with an operator and she said that they haven't recieve our case yet and to call them back at the end of october to find out more. I'm on a waiting jurney again... man how can you get so lucky. We got approved on the same date for crying out loud, lol.

what? I coulda sworn yesterday that I was reading your original post and going by your timeline it said that you were approved on the same date as we are. sept. 18, 2006. correct me if I'm wrong

I got approved on the same date as well!! I think the two of us will get good news towards the 3.5 or 4th week of waiting our 2-4 weeks for processing. We are now into 2.5 weeks!! I'm still waiting for email response from the NVC, but it has only been two days since I wrote them been told to wait 2-5 days!!

    Yeah me too, well see

I got an email back with having no luck about 5 minutes ago from the NVC.

The National Visa Center has received your inquiry regarding WACxxxxxxxx. After searching our records, no information was found regarding this case. Please contact U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS- formerly known as INS) to verify the status of this petition.

So the wait continues with the CSC to send it to the NVC. Might have to call the USCIS and find out that it is in the shipping stage as some one else had received the same information when calling the USCIS..

we'll see what I get in my email

this is what I just got

  6. our petition was approved on the same date as your and I sent nvc an email earlier this morning. Also I just called their automated service and appearantly our case isn't in the system yet. Hopefully good news will come to us soon.

I heard NVC automated service does not work for K1 cases. You have to talk to live operator or email.

Awww what? Really? I guess I'll be speaking with one of the operator tomorrow morning. Thanx for the head's up

  7. Good afternoon,

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). The visa petition you mentioned in your inquiry has recently been forwarded to the US Embassy. Please allow 10-15 business days for the Embassy to receive the petition.:dance::dance:

    congradulation

  8. My noa 2 was aproved on the 18th of this month but I just called them, and they have not received Yet? how long is taking them to received now??

Yea mine was approved on the same day as your. I'm thinking about giving them an email this monday. I wanna give them atleast 2 weeks to process it. in the mean while try to get your packet three ready to rock.

best wishes to all of us

  9. I know we have to send all originals to the foreign fiancee for the interview but certain originals are risky like the birth certificate or US passport. Important documents like these we have to send? Will the embassy keep the originals if they ask to see it. If so, how will we get it back? Thanks

    Ryan

From what I've heard you don't wanna send in you original BC and US passport, it's alright to send in a copy vesion. Correct me if I'm wrong

  10. So you can escort your fiance into the state. I thought I read somewhere that the us fiance must remain in the state when the foreign fiance's flying into the state. I wanted to do the same thing too. I wanna go pick up my fiance and come back with her into the state. So it is ok, right?

  11. Just wondering if I should get a new an up to date I-134 form notarize and bank balance, my job infos for the packet 3. it's been a couple months since I applied for the K-1 and my case is transfered to NVC right now. So nothings changed since as for the I-134 goes and other supporting evidence. Should I redo my whold Affidavit of supports and others mentioned above? Or is it ok with what I've sent in?

  12. So my question is, what of the originals does she needs for the interview of the I-129F package that was sent in to the USCIS?

Is a good time to get police certificate, birth certificate, and prepare the I-134 Affidavit of support.

The police and birth certificate are needed at the interview, in some countries they can take some time to get, so about the time of NOA2 is a good time to get these things.

Copies of things like passport, pay stubs, birth certificate are OK
