  1. My fiancee is in Thailand right now and her Med appointment is on this Tuesday. She don't have any records of Vaccination at all. For those that was in the same situation as we are. If she need all of the vaccination done, can it all be done at the same day? I'm worried that if it can't and she have to go back a couple more trips just to get it done that our Interview date will have to be postpone on a later date than schedule, Yikes!

    Evolution,

My wife had two series of vaccinations done while in Thailand. As Yodrak mentioned, try to get them done while in Thailand, as they are much cheaper. Also, be sure your fiance gets a copy of the DS3025 Vaccination worksheet from the doctor. Sounds easy, but they are, for some reason, very reluctant to give the patient a copy. She must insist on it, and show the doctor the bottom of the form where it states "Give the applicant a copy". She may need this form for her status adjustment here in the USA.

Yea I been telling her to get copies of all the forms and told her about the vaccination. She's currently waiting to see the Doctor right now. Just got off the phone with her. So far so good. Luckly there are some staffs in Bumrungrad that knows how to speak Cambodian.

    Thanx y'all

  2. Sweet, I guess I should really really stop worrying. Thank you Yodrak for 2nd that. Oh man I need some sleep, heh heh heh. I hope my fiancée don't forget to have the nurse get her a copy of the med forms before they put it in the going to be seal envelope. Yah, she bought a phone in Thailand today and now I can call her for hours and it will cost me almost nothing, "hmmmm exellent" That's one benefit of being in Thai.

  3. "As a fiancé(e), you are not required to fulfill this requirement at the time of your medical examination for a fiancé(e) visa. However, you may want to do so. These vaccinations are required when you adjust status following your marriage."

I feel much better, thank you ultimoxo. What a releaf!

  5. Evolution, If I get a packet 4 at all, I also will upload the docs as Bill has done.

    Thanx alot

Tomorrow will be week number 3 for our packet 4 and it's we will be in week number 6 for our packet 3. Man it's a good thing I sent in those downloaded version of packet 3, or else I won't be seeing our interview date anytime soon. I don't know if I should email them about packet 3 not being here yet and ask them how long will it take for packet 4 to arrive.

  6. I am not sure how it works for Cambodia, but for Thailand, I posted the entire packet 3 contents to this thread a few pages back. I tried taking the packet 3 forms directly to the Embassy, but they would not accept them and said I had to mail them in so I sent them in via EMS (confirmed next day delivery). I have not gotten my packet 4 yet, but when it comes I'll post its contents as well.

    Bill

    Thanx bill

And wow it's been like more than a month and I haven't got out packet 3 yet. Imagine how long it would take for me to recieve the packet 4.

  7. Hey thanx a lot. Hopefully everything will be ok.

While I'm expecting the packet 4 to arrive here in the state right before the interview date. Does anyone have the packet 4 scan. I heard that packet 4 contain the list of order on how they wanted the paper works to be present. I've been reading that on the day of the interview, you have to turn in the application in. Are they talking about the packet 3 paperwork? At what window exactly, cuz I been getting mix messages. Some said it's window 1 and 2 and the other said at window 5 and 6. Which one, really. Just trying to get a head's up before time.

    Thanx'all

  8. My fiancee will be traveling with her cousin who live and work in thai. I gave her the direction and number of the hospital and the post office name. And they're gonna find themselve a guide who will take them to places they needed to. Cost around $13 a day. How much does the hotel cost around there? I hope that she have enought money to travel though. Wow we just found out today that to go into Thai you'll need a visa or passport stamp at Phnom Penh. they said that should take about 3 days to get it back. Hopefully she'll get her visa by the time of the appointment.

One more thing does my fiancee need to get a Police Report done in thailand too? I just don't see any reason why. Someone on this thread mentioned to me about writing down the police station, us embassy, and etc. Just curiouse. man now that we got an interview date, days seems to be passing by quick. Don't have time to rest.

  9. Does anyone still have the link to the embassy map? By looking at this map I got, I'm seeing Sukhumvit street on the south side of the Embassy. And looking at the address of the Bumrungrad hospital, I'm guessing that the hospital is somewhere near the Embassy, correct. Oh man so much stresses right now. Trying to figure out how to get my fiancee to go to Thailand to get her med done and to find out where the embassy location is before her interview date :( . It's tought on her right now, especially not knowing the language and never been to Thailand before. Just trying to find someone to take her there is a pain.

    I gotta do something...

  10. It's been over a month and we still have not received packet 3 from the embassy. Tried their phone number and cant get a live person and they havent responded to my email. :(

Yea I got 2 more days to go to be a full month with no Packet 3. Luckly I sent in the downloaded version online earlier this month and got the interview date. I don't know if the consulate in India have the Packet 3 for download.

    Best luck

Your place of residence determines which USCIS office serves you.

    Yodrak

Sweet thanx guys, maybe I should move across the bridge over to Portland for awhile  Bummer, guess I still have to drive up to Seattle some more :(

But anyway I just found out that EVA airline is the fastest and the cheapest airline to fly with. Hopefully my fiancee obtain her Visa by then :D .

  12. So as the POE, where ever we decided to land is that gonna be the office where we're going to go through? Say if our POE is San Francisco, but we're switching flight up to washington. Would our local immigration office that we have to deal with be in San Francisco?

I'm over here in Vancouver, WA. I wanted to take off from Portland, OR. -> San Francisco -> to pick up my fiancee. I don't wanna drive up to Seattle for 3 hrs. How would this POE work?

Cuz I know when we came over to the U.S, our POE was Seattle, WA. Then we flew accross the state to Portland which was closer to home in Vancouver. Our immigration office was Seattle. So everytime we have to deal with the immigration office, we would have to drive for a good 3 hrs. up to Seattle. Over the year I was thinking, why can't we just go through Portland, it was closer. So this lead me to these questions. Hope no one is lost yet

  13. What I did was just put down the numbers with the space in between 011 855 0123456789, cuz when I call my fiancee I just punch in the number and not have to worried about the 011+855+0123456789 well in your case it would be just 66 2 1234 5678 I'm sure they'll know what what to do with those numbers.

As for the address, it wouldn't accept the # sign for ex. my fiance address was House# 01 street#02, all I did was just put in the space for the "#" House 01 street 02. Well you can always bring in a copy of her actual address in for reference. I was having to fix so many things on that form. It was a pain  .

Hey you always been helpful, thanx a lot. Already made an appointment with dr. Watcharapong sae-chere, first Doc. on the list. Spoked to a nice thai assistance in Thai for a little bit. "sawadee kap...puut pisah English, dai...mai? She was very helpful and seems like she know exactly what she was talking about. I didn't quite understand what she was refering to about the hospital number??? But at the end I finally know what she was talking about and she told me to use that number everytime my fiancee go there.

  16. This is what I got from the email by the embassy,

    Dear Sir,

This is to notify you that the IV Unit in Bangkok has scheduled the interview appointment for the above captioned case on 28-DEC-2006 at 07:00 am. The interview appointment letter and some additional forms have been mailed to this address on November 22, 2006

What do they mean by additional forms. I thought that's it, and all there would be left in packet 4 would be the interview letter. Am I missing something? what could the forms be?
