  1. Ok here's a thing, it's been almost amonth since I got engaged. I haven't file for a petition yet cuz I gotta wait for my citizenship test. I'm hoping in about 3 - 4 months down the road I'll be a naturalize citizen. In the mean time I been calling my fiance almost everyday using the phone card. Is there a way I can get some sort of records on the calls I made?

  2. I have been a permanent residence for 13 years now. My brother just got his citizenship after only 3 1/2 month of applying. Hopefully my case is that fast. I already know all the answer to the 100 question they have

as far as evidence go on my latest trip to cambodia, I just obtained some more boarding passes, hotel reciet, and some more credit card reciet . <--I have to thank my mom on these one for bringing it back with her. As far as photos go I got stashes of it sitting here with me. After looking through those picture I just realize that it's just not the same when she's not around me :crying:

Ok guys/gals is it alright to make coppies of the reciet, boarding passes, etc. to send in with the application? Or are they really picky and just wanted the original copy of everything that's needed for evidence?

  3. My home country is not as modernise as the rest of the world, but it's getting there. So having a hotel reciet or other purchasing reciet is out of the question. Although the only time I've recieved a reciet is by purchasing with my credit card and that I have. Also I have a couple luggage claim stickers and a couple boarding passes. I won't be going back there any time soon, not till next year or so. I hate to have to request for another vacation due to my recent time off from work. And I just don't have the money for another trip back. The only other thing that documented our engagement is some paper work that we did while I was over there. It's an engagement paper sign and stamped by the district/village leaders. Other than that no. As for our rings it was passed down from my mother and her.

  4. The only evidence I have is the plane ticket and the many photos we took during our engagement ceremony and from some many trips we took while I was down there. Thanx for the input. She's currently learning how to use the computer studying english and hopefully we can start writing each others emails before I can start the petitioning process. Hopefully I can get my NOA for my citizenship testing soon. God I'm missing her everyday :crying: .

  5. OK, me and my fiance just got engaged last month. And we only knew each other for only a couple months now. But the form I-129F required the relationship to start two years ago. Does this mean we have to wait two more years before qualifying for the I-129F form? We're planning to get married in a year time frame. A few people I know got married after a couple months of seeing each other. Is there a time frame in marriag in order to qualify. Other proof of contacts. The only way we can communicate is through the phone calls and I used the phone card to call her almost everyday in order to save some money of course. So there's no proof of records in calling. I would write her an email everyday if she have access to the internet. another bummer. I can speak the native language, but I can't write. So it's useless for us to be writing letters to each other. No proof of letters. The only proof we have is photographs that we took and of course the phone card that I've used. And so I heard that they won't accept phone cards anymore for proof. I'm currently applying for my US citizenship. I also heard that you don't have to be a citizen to petition for your fiance. Is this true? If so can I start the petitioning process?
