GC expires 4/4/2018, so we are in the 90 day window. It's still a mystery to me as of now.. let's take bets as to what it is lol

Thank you for even researching this for me! My tracking number now states that my package was delivered and is sitting at my front door as of 11:30am. I am at work, so the wait is killing me haha, I will find out why this happened once I get home tonight. I will keep you all posted.

I can not believe this day is here! Received this email today, "On March 13, 2019, we ordered your new card"!! Almost 13 months later, it is a huge sigh of relief. At least we can take a break of paperwork for a bit. Starsky, I want to personally send you a huge thank you for all that you do for this group (along with all of you). Here is my last request for awhile..Starsky, can you update the sheet!! I wish everyone in this group a speedy approval, they are all coming very soon - I can feel it. ❤️

We received the RFE letter on February 28th in the mail. We mailed back our response ASAP and USCIS received it via tracking number on Monday, March 4th. The online portal was updated on Tuesday, March 5th. So it literally took them 1 day to update the portal once they received our response.
 
P.S. I haven't received any updates via email or text even though I am signed up for them. I found out all my updates by logging into my online portal account.

Hi Everyone - USCIS updated our online portal, they received our RFE response yesterday, March 5th. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to hear a response after a RFE is received within the ROC process? Crossing fingers everyone hears some happy news soon.

Received our RFE in the mail yesterday, it was dated February 25, 2019.  So get this - our RFE was because we didn't submit page 11 on the i751 form. Page 11 was for if you needed space for "Additional Information", which we didn't so we figured we didn't need to submit it. They requested that my husband initial next to each item and add "N/A" to each line. Mailing back the page today. Hopefully we hear some good news soon!

I wouldn't put to much faith into the online portal. I signed up for text and email notifications and only received an email Saturday about the RFE update on our case. When I logged into the online portal on the new and old sites my history still said the same ol' message up until yesterday. Yesterday it finally caught up and now states that on "Feb. 23rd and RFE was issued". Maybe wait a day or two and check the portal again? I hope it's good news, like card is being produced!

Hi Guys- Just received an update status email. RFE!! I can’t believe it! We supplied so many documents and pictures, including our sons birth certificate, licenses, joint bank statements, joint cell phone bills, joint title of cars, copy of insurance as each other’s beneficiary etc etc etc..I guess now we just have to wait for the letter to see what they are “missing”. So upset but at least someone finally looked at our case, took literally 1 year for just that. :(

Haha just made a new one as well. I would have never known there was a new site, so glad for this forum!
So glad the new portal has a new message, "We reviewed your Biometrics and are still processing your case".

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to share our experience last week when traveling from the US to Canada with extension letter. We brought  my husbands current passport, expired Greencard, expired passport (just in case since that had his visa stamp in it) and his extension letter with us for customs. Going to Canada customs just asked for his passport but coming back into the States it actually showed up in the system that he had a permanent resident card and since it was expired we were told to go onto a different customs line. The customs agent looked over his passport and expired Greencard, we told him he had an extension letter but he never even looked at it, just the envelope it was in (which was the original envelope it came in from USCIS). And that was it, took less than 10 minutes each way. No issues what so ever.

FINALLY!!  We received our NOA1 yesterday (2/26). The letter stated it was received on the 20th which is crazy since I mailed it on the 8th. Anyway not complaining, we got it!

Nebraska service center, NOA1- 6/1/2015
NOA2- 11/19/2015 (after 1 RFE)
USCIS sent our case to NVC - 11/28/2015
NVC gave us a case number - 12/7/2015
We had CC on 1/22/2016, and our interview was scheduled for 3/24/2016 (APPROVED).
POE will be 4/14/2016.
The entire process took over 10 months..

Husbands visa was delivered today, packet is in great condition (no rips). My plane ticket is bought and our UHAUL is reserved! POE will be April 14th, at the Ontario/US border! Bring on the 30+ hour road trip to FL.

Thank you FL Bear! You have nothing to worry about. I been trying to write a review in the Montreal interview area, but it keeps saying I have to be "registered" to write a review, no idea why. Anyway it went smooth and my husband was asked the following questions in no particular order:
1. Where will you be living in the U.S.A?
2. How often do you see your wife?
3. What does your wife do for work?
4. How did you meet your wife?
5. What do you do for work?
6. Any family in the U.S.A?
7. Any issues crossing the border?
8. Ever live outside of Canada?
They asked to see 2014 W2's, 2014 tax transcripts, but if we had my 2015 taxes done they would take those too. Which I did so they took 2014 and 2015 tax information along with all the original documents required. They didn't ask for any other supporting "proof", pictures, travel receipts etc during interview.
"WELCOME TO USA! Visa should come within 2 weeks."

What a few days, I think I am having a mini heart attack! haha.
Today is my birthday, trying to age gracefully
Tomorrow I have a AM flight to Montreal, (hopefully no flight delays)
and Thursday is the day...my husbands interview!!!
I can't believe it is less than 48 hours away now..please send us all the good energy and positive vibes you can muster up.
