  1. You read the topic description..what is it about two women going at it in a sexual way that attracts men? And why is it so tabboo then for a woman to want two men???? I really am curious to know some opinions..perhaps it will satisfy some of our curiosity...

    LJ

Let's see......... hmm....... um..... "two" is twice as much as "one". :bonk:

  2. Knowing what I know about USCIS service centers, I have to ask:

Why are the blue dots moving so much? I would expect them to stand still for long periods of time.

I wondered that same thing, and then realized that the USCIS machine would probably break down completely if filers' petitions weren't somehow moving.

  3. Can someone clarify with me the actual process in order for someone I have met in Russia that wishes to visit me here in the USA. Is a "Visa" as a tourist possible? I am hearing that it is very hard to obtain a Visa to the USA for Russian women? Do I first have to travel there? :help:

Maybe you also have some questions about entering Russia (yourself) on a Russian visa. If you have not yet done it, it is not too difficult. Perhaps more of us can share experiences with you in this regard, if you are interested. And there may be some shortcuts available to you depending on what city you would be staying in while in Russia.

    Welcome to VJ!

  4. Remember how the WWII with fanatic Japan ended? Look at them now. In the future Iran could be our best trade partner!

It seems like Iran was once our best "illegal arms trade partner" during an earlier Republican administration... weren't they?

  5. Bush should be involved... the US has helped to enable Israel to get to this point.. therefore the US should monitor their activities and step up when needed (now)

Who the heck, other than terrorist nations, are going to be willing to step up and and help Hezbollah?!

    - Certainly, it will not be Bush.

  6. "We have 2,000 volunteers who have registered since last year," said Iranian

Hizbollah's spokesman Mojtaba Bigdeli, speaking by telephone from the central

    seminary city of Qom.

"They have been trained and they can become fully armed. We are ready to dispatch

them to every corner of the world to jeopardise Israel and America's interests.

We are only waiting for the Supreme Leader's green light to take action. If America

wants to ignite World War Three ... we welcome it," he said.

  7. Have fun and enjoy your trip!

Bought my ticket today. Arrive in Moscow on the 9th and depart Moscow on the 4th.

Humm that is the shortest trip I have heard of. You are returning 5 days before you arrive. You should think about staying longer.

 Actually, I wanted to return the day before I arrive, but I need to be back in the office on the 5th.

  8. I just got the RFE to correct address finally. Sent it out today, but I was in such hurry I forgot to make a copy before I sealed an envelope. I hope there will be no trouble. I also heard that if K3 gets to the embassy first and they schedule an interview, if they get I-130 before the interview you can request to have k3 abandoned and they are very likely to keep the same interview date just make it an IR1/CR1 interview. I am not sure if it's true for every case, but wouldn't that be lovely

Good news regarding your RFE; and you'll probably get a second one, like the other K-3 people, so you can just make a copy of the second one.

In either case (K-3 or CR1), I simply hope the interview is completed by the first of December so that Ksenia and the girls can arrive near the end of December. That would certainly make the New Year and Christmas more enjoyable.

  9. Hey John,

It seems you owe me a new computer. Yeah, that’s right.

I looked at your timeline, then I looked at my timeline, then I looked at your timeline again, then I look at my timeline again, then I yelled very loudly and beat on my computer.

Now I need a new one.

  10. I am considering enrolling in an MBA program. Are any of you in a program or completed one? Was it worth the investment and has it helped your business/career? Just looking for some thoughts.

YES. YES.YES. If you are able to do it, then do it, especially if you are planning to have a business career. I've seen the results of studies that show the average person with a master's degree makes 20% more than the average person with a bachelor's degree.

Ask yourself this: "Is a million dollars over my lifetime worth two more years of college study?"

  11. ####### is going on here, I am losing my faith that they have thier act together!!! Before anyone asks, no they are not asking for even more information it's the same request as before...

A lot of people said K-3's wouldn't be affected by IMBRA. However, based on the lack of approvals and the twin RFE's, someone was definitely misinformed.

  12. Natalia,

I received a second IMBRA RFE yesterday and sent it back. Then, today, I received an e-mail stating that they had received the first one from me. The second RFE came because of my change in address (they sent one to each address).

I noticed that you were also having a little administrative snafu with the handling of your RFE and your change of address. I certainly wish you the best in that regard.

I'm still hoping that the K-3 will prove to be a viable option for us. :)

  13. I’m planning to fly to Moscow, departing the USA some time between August 8th and 16th. And I’m anxious to go!

Anybody traveling during August? Maybe we can chat, in transit…

Also, if anybody needs drugs or a large amount of currency taken over there, just let me know…

Actually, I’m not serious about the drugs. :P

  14. Actually USPS has a global express option which I used when I learned the letter of intent had to be an actual letter, thanks to VJ, which I discovered shortly after my trip! :o

This option allows tracking and is MUCH faster then air mail. I knew when the package left the US and when it cleared Russia's Customs House! All together about 2 weeks and about 2 weeks faster then air!

It was about $25 to mail the letter to Olga (she returned it Russian Express Mail which was just as fast! It was very expensive from a Russian point of view at 1200р)! I also mailed her a copy of the packet sent to USCIS this way! I intend to send the originals and the I-134 this way as well!

I've sent a couple-dozen things over there via USPS Global Express during the last 2 years, and every envelope was delivered within a week. Not bad for about $25. Providing a phone number is important.

  15. I have heard rumblings that some of us have received an email stating that a SECOND RFE was mailed to them following USCIS receipt of the 1st RFE. Has anyone received a 2nd RFE? What is the nature of the 2nd RFE?

I received a second IMBRA RFE, which is worded exactly the same as the original RFE I received. However, there is a difference between the 2 separate RFEs; and, that is that they were mailed to 2 different addresses. The first one was mailed to my old address, and the second one was mailed to my current address. It seems that the first RFE was delivered to me about the same time that my address change took affect. I completed and sent the first RFE back to them, and I am doing the same with the second one.

  16. hm...what if the MSC will approve the held up K3 petitions now, since they already sending out the RFE's (FINALLY). I bet there will be a whole bunch of people who just take that route and adjust for status in the US. I mean since peeps have been longer seperated because of this new law, it is understandable that some just take the shortest way then, dont you think?

    Isabel

Yes. I think so too, as it is my desire to complete this first step (to be together) as soon as possible. And for us, 2 or 3 months may make all the difference.

  17. Attached please find information from the USCIS dated June 13, 2006 regarding recent changes and delays with Fiancée Visas petitions

If you have already filed a Fiancée or Spousal Visa petition with the USCIS you will receiving a questionnaire soon for you to complete and mail back to the USCIS. The questions are related to domestic violence and criminal convictions.

If you have already filed after 3/6/06 there is nothing to do but wait until you receive the questionnaire and complete it and return to the USCIS for processing. If you have not filed please use the attached new I-129F.

If you have additional questions you may call the USCIS at 800-375-5283 and push the following at the voice prompts – 1, 3, 4, 9.

Cherry Blossoms, Inc. is not a Marriage Broker and to our knowledge none of our clients use a Marriage Broker so the answer on the I-129F or Questionaire is that you have not used a Marriage Broker.

    Aloha

    CB Staff

BE CAREFUL! I also met my fiancee through this site. I got the same response from CB that they are not an IMB. I consulted an immigration attorney soon after and he explained why CHERRY BLOSSOMS IS CONSIDERED AND IMB under the law. He advised me to answer yes to the question and also advised that since we met prior to the law going in to affect not to worry about it.

Just wondering… what are you guys going to do if the USCIS asks Cherry Blossoms if they delivered the IMBRA-required information to your fiancé, and then Cherry Blossoms says that they have not?

Or what if any couple met two years ago on a dating site, which today, no longer has their correct contact information? How in the world is the dating site supposed to be able to say that they have met the requirements of IMBRA?

  18. Andrew, our timelines are so close to each other. My i-130 got touched again today. Noooow, I am getting a little toooo excited

Keep me posted on what's going on with yours

    ;)

    Natalia,

Our I-130 was approved yesterday. I received notice via e-mail today.

I know yours is forthcoming.

I assumed our I-129 would be approved by now too, before IMBRA; but as you know, there has been a delay in that regard with K-3 petitioners.

Perhaps we will have a decision to make on which way to go - either, the K-3 or the CR-1. I am still hoping that the K-3 process will be faster. Our goal is for Ksenia and the girls to arrive here before the end of the year.

    Best wishes!

  19. A flood of American liberals sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified in the past week, sparking calls for increased patrols to stop the illegal immigration. The actions of President Bush are prompting the exodus among left-leaning citizens who fear they'll soon be required to hunt, pray, and agree with Bill O'Reilly.

Canadian border farmers say it's not uncommon to see dozens of sociology professors, animal-rights activists and Unitarians crossing their fields at night.

"I went out to milk the cows the other day, and there was a Hollywood producer huddled in the barn," said Manitoba farmer Red Greenfield, whose acreage borders North Dakota. The producer was cold, exhausted and hungry. "He asked me if I could spare a latte and some free-range

chicken. When I said I didn't have any, he left. Didn't even get a chance to show him my screenplay, eh?"

In an effort to stop the illegal aliens, Greenfield erected higher fences, but the liberals scaled them. So he tried installing speakers and blaring Rush Limbaugh across the fields. "Not real effective," he said. "The liberals still got through, and Rush annoyed the cows so much they wouldn't give milk."

Officials are particularly concerned about smugglers who meet liberals near the Canadian border, pack them into Volvo station wagons, drive them across the border and leave them to fend for themselves.

"A lot of these people are not prepared for rugged conditions," an Ontario border patrolman said. "I found one carload without a drop of drinking water. They did have a nice little Napa Valley cabernet, though."

When liberals are caught, they're sent back across the border, often wailing loudly that they fear

retribution from conservatives. Rumors have been circulating about the Bush administration establishing re-education camps in which liberals will be forced to drink domestic beer and watch NASCAR races.

In recent days, liberals have turned to sometimes-ingenious ways of crossing the border. Some

have taken to posing as senior citizens on bus trips to buy cheap Canadian prescription drugs. After catching a half-dozen young vegans disguised in powdered wigs, Canadian

immigration authorities began stopping buses and quizzing the supposed senior-citizen passengers on Perry Como and Rosemary Clooney hits to prove they were alive in the '50s.

"If they can't identify the accordion player on The Lawrence Welk Show, we get suspicious about their age," an official said.

Canadian citizens have complained that the illegal immigrants are creating an organic-broccoli shortage and renting all the good Susan Sarandon movies. "I feel sorry for American liberals, but the Canadian economy just can't support them," an Ottawa resident said.

"How many art-history majors does one country need?"

In an effort to ease tensions between the United States and Canada, Vice President ####### Cheney met with the Canadian ambassador and pledged that the administration would take steps to reassure liberals, a source close to Cheney said. We're going to have some Peter, Paul & Mary concerts. And we might put some endangered species on postage stamps. The President is determined to reach out," he said.
