Nope.
Airlines most times are the ones that look close at the expiration date on a passport.

There is no issue flying to the Philippines using your Philippine passports with less than 6 months remaining. Returning to the USA with new passports shouldn't be an issue as you will have your old passport as well (don't toss old passports).
