Babyface1 got a reaction from Anitafeliz in Need advice on Egyptian Fiance
How is it possible that you had photos taken together but you didn't stand next to each other??

We tried to help you, so stop being arrogant. Your case is FULL of red flags (being engaged shortly after having met, meeting breefly in person and only one time, cultural differences, different religion, fraudster relative, etc).
You have been told a bunch of useful answers. IF you have solid evidence of bonafide relationship, his uncle shouldn't matter but he is definitely a huge red flag either way. MORE TIME SPENT IN PERSON TOGETHER is needed if you want to get approved. Egypt is a high fraud country and the US Consulate in Egypt won't be impressed that he has met you only once in person. It's not being negative and pessimistic, these are FACTS.
It is still beyond my understanding why after seeing your sister heartbroken you jumped in a relationship with a relative of the fraudster.

Egypt is also a HIGH fraud country, so the same rules apply.
Why are you so sure after "one brief meeting" when you "didn't stand next to each other" (you said these things) that he is not a fraudster like his brother is? FYI the rose and the towel and other fishy things are typical when fraudsters from third world countries try to make American women fall in love with them.
This whole story is surreal.

Because the photos and how you met in person DOES matter to USCIS... more than his uncle. USCIS does not care AT ALL whether those photos were taken by a professional photographer or not. Your photos and other evidence of having met should show genuine love, period. Your whole story just doesn't seem to add up and is very very odd.

These things are all off topic and way too personal. I hope you don't consider these statements evidence of bonafide relationship because the USCIS sure as hell won't.

Thank you! It's truly great that here on Visajourney we understand each others joy and excitement as well as the doubts and worries. I remember loving to read success stories of other people who already had their interview and got their visa, while I was still waiting for my NOA2 and even after that. Just as you said, it gives hope.
Good luck on your interview!

Hey guys!
I had my K-1 visa interview on 11/25/2014 at the US Embassy in Budapest, Hungary and I was approved. I checked the visa status on the CEAC website yesterday and it said "Issued". Today morning I received an email and a call from the delivery service that the embassy uses that I will receive my package today.
At 10:50am local time I received my passport (with the K-1 visa in it) and the sealed brown envelope that I will have to carry with me and give to the IO at POE.
I'm so happy that everything went smoothly and only 2 days after the interview I have the visa in my hand! I already have my plane ticket, I will enter the U.S. on December 6th, one day after my 24th birthday! A few days after POE I'll apply for a Social Security Card, then me and my fiancé will get married (still in December), and after that I will get a new Social Security Card with my married name. We will file for AOS/EAD/AP in January.
I'm so happy to say that my K-1 journey has come to an end and it's a happy ending! I can't wait to start my new life in America with the man of my dreams.
Good luck to you all!

I agree, the colorful folders definitely made the preparation less stressful Even when I was at the Embassy waiting for my interview my stress was gone looked at those pretty folders
Good luck on your journey
Thank you! My POE will be on December 6th, just one day after my 24th birthday
