Just wondering how do some of you veterans who've been through or currently going through the separation from your spouse or future spouse surviving? I've only been waiting less than 2 months and its very difficult. so i will not even try to put myself in your shoes because you guys know more than anyone else how it feels. I try to Skype with Jane every night, but the internet infrastructure is horrible in the Philippines. We also do facebook phone calls and chats. I will be returning in July to spend 2 weeks with her, but this will set me back financially. Just wondering how you deal with it. I know in the end, our waits will be worth it. Hope you long-termers get good news soon.

When I look at the progress status for TSC it says they are working on September 2014 cases but when I look to see the order of the pending cases there are still unapproved cases from April of 2014. Is this accurate? How reliable is that list?

I'm curious from you veterans here if has there ever been a time when processing times at service centers have come down. Now TSC has.a 217 day processing time. Has there been cases that these numbers come down and if so why? Just asking because I filed in March of this yr and don't think it's fair for you who have filed in September not to be processed yet. It's inexcusable. I am ready to wait as long as it takes. Hope you guys get your k1 s approved. I'll keep you posted on my progress. Thanks.

Just curious for your insights because I'm not sure if this has any impact on my application? Also do you guys know the cost of this visa and how long it takes for approval? Thanks.

Assuming the process goes smoothly and Jane gets to come here, is it recommended to go to the Philippines to get her and bring her back or let her come on her own. Just curious for your experiences. Either way would be fine, just concerned about the financial impact, although love will make you do things you would not normally do. lol

Is documentation of ongoing rerlationship enough or should i send the entire packet to her. Either way is fine, just wondering what was the normal procedure. Thanks.

I was following the step by step guide and it states that before NOA2 we should begin gathering documents like financial records and letters from employers, my question is how current do they have to be because if I gather that data now and it's 8 months before approval will they allow the info I collect now or should I wait before gathering it?

My fiance and I have never been married, never had children, and have clean criminal records. Assuming that our forms are filled out correctly, will this possibly speed up the process for approval or denial, or will we still fall in that 5-8 month processing time. Just curious. Thank you guys for all the advice I've received on this site. By the way, when I filled out my profile, I put I am immigrating from the Philippines, but it's my fiance Jane that I hope to bring from there. Thanks.

When they talk about 5 months processing time for the k1, are they referring to the entire process from sending off the packet til visa granted, or is that 5 month period referring the time between NOA 1 and NOA 2? i kind of think it is the latter, but not sure. Thanks.

Thanks for the information.

Why do i need an extra packet and should i have mailed the duplicate with my original package? I only sent one packet off to the Dallas lockbox. i received my first NOA yesterday. This was just one week after i tracked that they received it.
How did (or are you ) dealing with the separation during the waiting process?
