  3. Anybody here from Philippines got interviewed last week at USEM manila?? My husband had his interview last thursday, all went well! Now he just have to wait for the visa packet! They had this new thing about registering delivery address befre the interview and should bring the confirmation at the timw of interview..well we did not know that, my husband was given a small piece of paper with instructions to go online and register the delivery address..i couldnt figure it out so i called embassy and did the registeration over the phone! The rep said my husband should just get a txt message once its ready for pick up since we opted to pick up at SM MOA..im just wondering how many days it would take approximately..US EMBASSY MANILA doesnt ask at the time of the interview where you want to have your passport/visa packet delivered, it's done online now..

  4. Checked our stat on CEAC and it says "Ready" since August 30. On Sept 2, the embassy sent my husband an e-mail congratulating me for my upcoming interview and that they already received and finished reviewing the documents sent from NVC. Judging by that i think your documents are already with them but if you're really anxious to know and wanna make sure of it, it's a good idea to send MNL IV section an inquiry about your case. SLEC's on a first come first served basis but i suggest to have your husband fall in line at least around 2:30 am if he wants to at least finish around noon and know about his X-ray result the same day. As to what people around SLEC say, they have the most human traffic every Monday so it'll require a person more patience for that. Also, they have a cut off so if he doesn't make it with the first cut on X-ray for day 1 he'll know about his X-ray results first in the morning by day 2 and see if he'll be ok'd for immunization instead of being informed about that on day 1.

    Have a good one :)

Thank you for all the helpful information..yeah just yesterday ceac stat changed to IN TRANSIT..i have also registered my husband in the SLEC online registration..230am is really early, slec opens at 6am..i just told him be right there before 6am..if he has to go back the next day, thats ok..but hopefully he wont have to be..thank you very much! :)

  5. I know everyone is done and discouraged but just wanted to give everybody a group hug and blow kisses and much love your way. (L)

Soon you will all forget this wait and horror and be rejoicing and running around like crazy preparing for interview. So hang on Good news will be forthcoming. Lets all encourage and stay positive.

There's no crying :crying: in immigration now. :goofy:

Very well said..i agree with you! Thank you for that message :)

  6. What i meant was hoping for this sept or oct and couldnt wait until december since they are working so slow in giving interview dates... We dont have a interview date either and everytime i call nvc they always say the same thing as yours.. Petition went by fast too but stuck on nvc.. Haaaa so frustrrating.

I know, hopefully this waiting would be over..it's just not soon enough..i was really hoping for september..i wish my husband could celebrate his birthday here in US in october..oh well, we will just keep praying..some of these days, we'll get an email from NVC..we'll get through this..:)

  7. Hi me also waiting for interview for my parents in manila, phils.. I tried to reach them and what they told me is that they dont have thecase yet it was nvc whose making the appointment and not them.. My cc was july 14 and hoping for sept or oct but not until december.. Its so frustrating..

Hi, im confused by what said about not until december..do you mean your parents interview is on december? Or you mean your hoping for sept or oct but not like up to december? Me too i hope its really soon..the reason why i called us embassy manila is because everytime i call NVC theyll say they are waiting from us embassy manila to give them the available dates..then when i called us embassy manila they say they are waiting from NVC..its really frustrating..
