Hello,
We live in NJ, we sent all the paperwork to Chicago.
I had my fingerprints taken in Neward, NJ.
What's our local office?
Where will our interview take place?
Thanks,
Anna

Hello,
Is there anyone here, who had changed the address before the interview?
Does it slow down the process?
We live in New Jersey and my husband is applying for jobs in New York.
We are also thinking about moving to Oregon.
How would the NJ - NY move affect our application?
What about NJ-Oregon?
Thanks,
Anna

Hey there,
I am on the F1, I guess no more because I filed for AOS.
It's like any other visa, I think they don't care what you're changing from,
once you file for the AOS I think the other visa disappears anyway.

Ive just been through all that. Yes you will get a letter with your interview date (unless they need something else) and trust me mine took almost the whole 180 days. I just had my interview Feb 23 and including weekends I jsut got my PR card yesterday less than 12 days !!!! when you get the letter it will state the time and place for your interview, and it will have a checklist of things to bring with you. Be real prepared and have things organized so there easy to get when the person asks for such item. Good luck
Hey there,
Thanks!!! But did you have "you will receive a written decision on this case"
in your letter?

Hey Bill,
I have received a similar letter, I posted it under nyc.
I think they are talking about the interview date,
unortunately I think their decision is an interview date.
I hope for you and me that I'm wrong...

Hello,
They have received everything on 1/3/06.
I didn't include the medical and they asked for it.
After I sent it here's what I have online about the I-485, AOS:
On February 13, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 120 and 180 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.
Does anyone know what they're talking about?
Does "a written decision on this case" mean the interview date?
Is it possible that they decide without the interview?
Thanks,
Anna
