Husband_wife, when was your interview? What documents did they request from you?

If you dont mind, can you tell us why you waited so long to send the documents? and also, have you tried contacting anyone to get an update on your case? Has your case updated on the CEAC website?

Yeah, I just checked mine and for both it says:

There is no status update available for the passport number submitted.

Yeah, I have no Idea whats going on with the technical issues. Somebody else told me that they are not issuing visa's at all until this is fixed. I really hope this is not the case.

Yes, they kept his passport and told him that the sooner he sends everything the sooner they will send his passport and visa back to him.

I did not know that there was a way to track the passport. Can you please tell me how to do this?

My husband had his interview on June 4, 2015 in Islamabad and he was given the white 221g form and was asked to send additional documentation. He sent all of the requested documentation on June 5, 2015. I received an email from the Embassy stating that they received his documents and it is pending review. Since June 4 his status has updated on June 8, 11, 16, 17, 19, 20 & 23. I would like to know if this is a good thing? Has this happened with anyone else before? Do you know how long they take to issue a visa after receiving all requested documents?

They asked my husband to send them his previous expired passport, our wedding video, more proof of on-going relationship and contact information for my ex-husband. He sent them everything except contact info for my ex because I don't have that information. I don't know where he is or where he went after we got divorced. I sent a letter along with all the documents explaining this. Inshallah everything will be ok and they will issue his visa soon.

My husband had his interview June 4. He was put on AP and they gave him the white slip. On there it says that he needs to provide them with additional documentation before they can issue the visa. My husband has sent all of this documentation to them.

Has any else been through this before? Do you know how long it generally takes if all they are asking is additional documentation?

So I'm really not sure if this means anything, but I am going to ask anyway.

My husbands case had 3 N/A's and I got email saying that his case is complete and that he has been scheduled for a interview on June 4th.

But a couple days ago I checked the site again and on there the AOS fee shows "PAID" rather than N/A.

Does this really make a difference considering his interview has already been scheduled?

We submitted the DS-261 on March 20th, and the AOS fee has been marked as paid for a couple weeks, but the IV bill still isn't available.

The NVC website says to allow 15 days from the time DS-261 is submitted before expecting the IV invoice. It's been 21 days and I'm beginning to worry.

Is it normal to be left waiting this long?

Yup, just keep calling. I called and the lady was very nice and approved it over the phone.

You usually have 2 n/a's until your case is closed At that point the 3rd n/a appears where AOS fees change from "paid" to "n/a"!
