M.hassan, they usually call you within a few days to pick-up your visa & passport.

Mine still looks like this. "If your visa application is approved, it will be processed/mailed or available within two business days."

Wow, thats great. Im sure you will get the SS card by end of this week. From what I have seen it doesn't take to long.

Samantha2015, Im sure that is good news since they are actually proactivily working on your case. Im sure will get some good news soon. I don't know what to expect from the Islamabad embassy. There have been no updates on my case since June 23.

YYAAYY, Im sure good news is on the way!!

I don't know if it was approved or denied. All they gave him was the white 221g form and told him to send the documents. They asked for our wedding video, more proof of on-going relationship, old expired passport and contact information for my ex-husband. My husband sent them everything except the contact information for my ex because I don't have it. After getting a divorce I never contacted him again and I don't even know where he is anymore. I wrote a letter explaining this and sent it with the documents.

My husbands interview was june 4 and was updated on June 4, 8, 11, 16, 17, 19, 20 & 23. There have been no updates since June 23.

We all just have to be patient and hope and pray for short AP time.

I completely understanding and am sooo grateful that we found each other on Visa Journey. I sent my documents on June 5 and there is still no update on my case since June 23. Before that my case updated 7 times but still says AP.

ShaMarshie1723, there is really now way to know how long your case could be in AP. it could be days, weeks, months or years. But if they didnt ask you for anything it shouldnt be to long. They asked my husband for additional docs and we are now still waiting and it has been a month now. Hopefully we will all hear good news soon!

It usually means that they are doing something to your case. Anytime your case is updated it means that they have looked at it for some reason. They may have just received your documents and input them in the system. But your case can be updated many times without a status change. You status will say AP until they are ready to issue the visa.

Current status is still AP and no updates since June 23.

Have you tracked your passport? What is the status on that? Mine still says

"There is no status update available for the passport number submitted."

That sounds like good news!! Hopefully you will see issued soon.
