Unreal, I'm sorry this is happening to you as well. I assume all is good on the USCIS side as there is an interview scheduled for my cousin but i wanted to print the application for her and realized none of the documents are on file in the my USCIS.

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've been here and seems like lots of people have had interviews, Congrats!

I have a question: has anyone logged into the myUSCIS account recently and not been able to view their Case Snapshot? I helped my cousin fill her application last year and she will be having an interview next month in New York City, I'm trying to help her print all of her documents but haven't been able to open the case snap shot, it gives me an error (see image below) Also, I noticed all of the documents we uploaded are not there any more and I know 100% for sure we did it last year when filing. 

Any thoughts or experiences you have had on this can you kindly share?  Much appreciated.

Two funny things happened here, which just goes to show how nerve wracking this was for the Commander. When I asked her who was the president after Washington, she said Adams Jackson. I was listening to "Sorry Ms. Jackson" by Outkast, so that must have confused her. Second, during the interview, the officer asked her what the voting age was. She said "17 and older... er... 18. I mean 18."

So funny! What office was it?

Congrats on reaching the end of the journey. Now go on and get that passport and enjoy the rest of your lives together!

I agree with the previous answer. Seems like everything is in order. Did you have your wife’s proof of citizenship at the interview? I remember on the interview letter they list all the documents you are to bring to the interview. At least they did for my husband. One of them was spouse’s proof of citizenship if applying based on marriage.

I have my I-751 pending in VSC and I'm now preparing myself for N400 I'll be eligible in 10 days. I have the following questions:

 

1- Are the few pages Tax transcripts enough , would I need W2 or 1040(I have them anyway)

2- Regarding evidence to I need to include the evidence again since we got married? the same stuff that I included in my I-751 again?

3- Can I start my application online now and only submit it after I enter the 90 days period?

1- yes transcripts are enough 

2- yes, if you are applying on the basis of marriage you will need to submit evidence of a bonafide marriage this includes evidence you might have already submitted (marriage certificate, mortgage/ lease, bank accounts, etc) and new evidence proving you share a life together. Subías much as you can or have as this will avoid any RFE issues. 

3 - you can start the application and keep it for 30 days. After 30 days you will need to restart.

Thanks for this advise, didn’t even think of it. I just told my husband and he is happy to have something to watch as well as listen to on his way to work

so anyways she started with the interview and told me to write something on the iPad of which I did, but when I wanted to write it, I dropped my wallet that was on my hand on her desk and she looked me straight in the eye and said, “listen first of all you don’t leave any of your personal things on my desk, nothing, so I picked it up and tried to reach for my passport too and she said, did I tell you to take that?? Uhn?  I thought to myself “this lady is mentally deranged” and left the passport. So I acted like I was about to cry (fake though) and she saw my face all mellow, then she became soft and started treating me like a child😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. I was like YES MY PLAN WORKED, I even failed one of the question (name two holidays and I said 4th of July instead of Independence Day) and she said “it’s Independence Day and not 4th of July” (in a mellow And caring  tone still) she was like you’re doing good, don’t be scared 😂😂. In my mind am like. “AM NOT SCARED OF YOU WOMAN!!!!!!”  To cut to the chase, I passed the test and she told me I did good and still kept treating me like Son, and She said, you know what, I’ll make sure you get your oath today so you don’t have to wait for it in the mail ok?! 
am like “yes ma’m”. So I sat down and got my oath this same day. 
p.s. this was in the New York City federal plaza earlier this morning

my oath is scheduled to take place on the 4th of December!

Husband’s interview is November 27th. If someone can kindly update the spreadsheet, it will be appreciated.

Hubby got interview notification! Waiting for the actual letter to see interview date. Newark, NJ office.

I second this answer. USCIS gives you the booklet at biometrics appointment but you can get a head start by printing the study guide from the official website.

Good morning everyone. My husband went for his biometrics appointment this past Thursday 3/28. His ASC is in Elizabeth, NJ. Took about 1.5 hours from the time of the appointment to get it all done (this place is always busy). They gave him a booklet with a Citizenship study guide at the end so he can study for his test. That same day, we received a notification stating his case was being actively reviewed. Now to wait for an interview, I suspect we are several a months in for that...

Today after almost two anguishing weeks after card being delivered to wrong address, I was able to collect it. According to the person where the card was supposedly delivered to, it was placed today (Sunday) in his mail slot and the envelope was already open. This suggests the card wasn’t even delivered to the address on the enevelope. Anyway, he was nice enough to text me and let me know he had it. Card was intact and still stuck to the letter it comes in with. 

Now I need to call USCIS and let them know of this turn of events. 

@Amhara thanks for providing support, at least to hear my venting when I was frustrated. 

On another note, my husband went for his biometrics appointment this past Thursday for his N400. One step closer to it all being over.

Thanks Amhara, In this case, according to the USPS office, the card was indeed delivered by the postal worker. What's sad about it is that this postal worker knows who we are and that we moved and still delivered it. I'm going to visit the old address tenants again today and see if they had any luck finding the letter. I'm thinking, because the card is showing as delivered, the USCIS will never get it back as undelivered.

I called USCIS today but they would only talk to the applicant and not the petitioner. I submitted a "card not received" inquiry and it stated they will let me know what happens by April 16th. This is a fine example of incompetence on different levels of governmental offices: USCIS failed to send the card to the updated address, USPS failed to confirm that the mail recipient was no longer at the address on the envelope. And I read somewhere that they do not forward mail for these type of documents (we have mail forward activated since we moved last May). Ad to the fact that the current tenants don't seem to be cooperating as much as I would expect

You guys what a nightmare. My husband's card was delivered to the old address, we submitted an address change and was confirmed by USCIS on 7/18/18. When I went to speak to the current residents on the old address they state they do not have the piece of mail. USPS confirmed it was delivered to the old address. I'm about to submit an inquiry and Im also on the phone waiting to speak to customer service but I wanted to see if anyone as been through this or has read or know anyone that has been through this.

Filed March 6 Online and Received Notice of receipt online March 6. Estimated case completion time is March 2020 . Biometrics scheduled for 3/28/2019 at 9am. Our local office is Newark, NJ.

We just received approval for I751 today 3/12! (card being produced message).

I would just go to the first appointment on the 15th and bring the letter for the second appointment. They might be able to do it all in the same day.

OMG! I just received a notification for case status update, when I checked it says :

New Card Is Being Produced

On March 12, 2019, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC18081*** , and will mail it to the address you gave us.

I was so worried about a combo interview at the Newark Office as I read bad stories but that wont be a worry anymore! Thank God! Now the next step is hubby's N400 Biometrics Appt. The letter was uploaded today in the MyUSCIS and it was scheduled for 3/28/2019. Next step will be Interview, I will keep praying to have it this year. I will keep praying for everyone still waiting for approvals in this Forum.

I'm so freaking happy!! So much happening today!

An update on my husband’s N400, we filed on Wed 3/6 and just this morning received a notification of Biometrics appointment, I’m waiting for the document to be uploaded to “my USCIS account” to see when the appointment is. I was surprised to see such fast movement as we haven’t even received the NOA1 letter yet! It’s only been 3 days lol. However, No movements on the ROC yet.

The latest on the ROC: on mycase status it says “case transferred to local office on April 9, 2018” on the MyUSCIS page, it says “case transferred on February 27, 2018” I don’t know which one to believe. 

I’m also a little worried as our field office is Newark, NJ and not only do they take long to schedule an interview appointment, I read about another VJ member who went to his interview and expected to have a combo interview and the officer said “he wasn’t elegible for citizenship” when he clearly was, they even closed his case. 

I’m venting here because this has caused a little anxiety lately .

@Amhara I’m glad your husband got is interview appointment. I hope your strategy to get both cases joined works. I might try it too, I’m just afraid the Newark people are not competent enough to understand what we are requesting
