I don't think there is any shame in working an "entry level" job to put food on the table. So I must disagree, nothing is "beneath" me but I do have valuable skills that the US would be lucky to utilize.

A married couple is LEGALLY more attached in eyes of the law. It's a contract that has been completed. You can argue emotions with me but that's just the way it is all over the world. If you didn't want to get married due to red tape that was your issue, but don't tell me you COULDN'T get married.
So I stick by my statement. Legally married couples, who took the time and effort to arrange the legal contract, SHOULD TAKE PRECEDENCE.

Many people here were making incredibly FALSE statements about not being allowed to get married and so on. Some correction was needed. Especially those on the VWP who made sweeping statements that the K-1 is the only alternative. In their instance - That is a blatant untruth and luckily some people have come here to correct that.
I'm self interested, not self centred. Yes, I want my peitition to take the same amount of time, why shouldn't I?

I agree. At the moment, the K-1 seems to take half the time, which means half the time apart. Yes they AOS but they do that with their spouse. IMHO a married person should have more rights than a fiance and should take precedence when it comes to processing.

Fair enough. You know Shana, I don't. This thread was created for TSC people to vent without being confronted by CSC people and their "gleeful less than 6 month finish to end" journeys. I don't want advice from those people. I don't care what they think of me and quite frankly I don't feel like this thread should be watered down into a "let's all hold hands and sing kumbaya" thread BECAUSE IT IS NOT.

Ok I've had enough. If was so spiteful, why am I here when I am DONE with TSC and the NVC? I could just move on if I were so spiteful.
You are bickering but this particular moderator lets you get away with it. If you don't have anything of value to add here besides accusing me I suggest you move on.

It depends on the State so you must check with the DMV in the State you wish to live. Some States allow you to drive on your foreign license for a while taking the DL tests. BUT each State is different.

Yes, K-1 is the smarter choice you can "try out" your Fiance(e) for 90 days and then decide to marry or not. You also get to decide when to AOS.

You certainly can come in on a B1/B2 visa with the intention of getting married, then leaving and filing for I-130 from your home country.

I've heard that the email comes 7 days after the actual CC, but who knows when you got the CC since you've been seeing the extra NA longer than that.
    On to the interview stage...
