  1. No, ours was received 3/17 and we didn't get notice til yesterday, 3/29. It can take up to 10 business days.

If it expires, you would get some notice with the returned pack as to why it was returned. Copy it, include it on evidence and re file.

Our payment wasn't processed til a week and a half after we mailed. You're not going to be returned unless you made a mistake in payments most likely.

Thanks... I think we did make a mistake in payments actually... He apparently was reading something older on visa journey that said payment was $1010 and it looks like it's actually $1070. Hopefully we get the package back soon and it is rectified.

  2. Congrats on making it through! When are you planning to make your POE?

And big congrats to all the recent approvals!

Thank you! :) My fiance just received his visa this week. He is not planning on entering until end of December, he needs to tie up things with work, and wanted to spend his last holidays with his family. Hopefully I will be able to spend it with him in Ireland. Plus we have our wedding all planned for February 13th, so didn't want to enter too soon before then.

  3. Congrats to all those finally approved! Hopefully those left will receive word soon.. there can't be too many left, I hope?

I had a Sept 1 NOA2, and my fiance had his interview on October 29, approved.

Thankful the Dublin embassy is quick when it comes to scheduling the interview.

So relieved to be done with the process, until AOS at least <_<

Big thanks to everyone in this group for all the moral support over the last 8 months :D

  4. You're missing the point here, 20 years ago is not today. And they shouldn't have to refund your money. They've done nothing wrong; they also are aware of how to process paperwork as it is their jobs. That being said, your time frame is in line with that of TSC. They are busy. Be thankful that you even have the opportunity to be bringing a foreign fiance into the USA. It's a priviledge, not a right.

Uhh... I don't think you should be lecturing the original poster on being patient and thankful, considering you received your NOA2 in a month!! You didn't have to endure the pain and frustration of waiting several months simply due to the incompetence of the Texas service center. I am the tax paying US citizen who paid the same fees to bring my fiance over, so I do consider it my "right" to be processed in a timely and efficient manner. It may be a "privilege" as you say to bring your fiance over, but we are only talking about them looking at our applications for God's sake! The disparity between Texas and CSC is outrageous and we have every right to complain. Especially the person who waited a year to be approved.. nobody should have to go through that, when others are approved in weeks. It is simply ineptitude on the service center's fault and not fair. And I was one of the "lucky" ones approved after 6 months at TSC. Good luck OP, I hope you get your approval soon.

  5. Weve got a good news yesterday! We submitted our 129-F last August 31, and got the NOA last Sept 3, 27days later weve got our NOA2, our case was approved (Sept 30,2015)

Now we are moving to the next steps!

By the way weve sent our application at Dallas Texas

Hi! You most definitely were not processed in Dallas, many people confuse the Dallas lockbox address with being processed in TSC. The lockbox simply routes applications once they are received, and ALL applications since March 27 have been routed to CSC, so please double check your receipt number. If you are a WAC that means you were routed to CSC, as has been the case since March and the backlog. If you are SRC then that means you were processed in Texas, although it would be unheard of to receive NOA2 from Texas in 27 days. So if you are WAC please correct your timeline, and congrats. :)

  6. I have NOA1 date March 17th and have heard nothing. I have called and they know nothing. They just tell me they are behind. My question is, why do I see petitions from 2-3 months ago approved, but march petitions are still below 50% approval. Is there another contact phone number to check on status?

    Thanks,

It is ridiculous, I am sorry for all those still waiting and feel very lucky to have got out of TSC when we did. Know those approved from 2-3 months ago are not at TSC... they are most likely CSC that incorrectly filled out their timeline. CSC has taken almost all apps since March 27th. To get a better idea of what is processing, check out immifairy.com (It has not been much unfortunately the last 3 weeks). It is $10 a month, but helped me to get through the wait at TSC.

  7. So we were received in consulate yesterday, and having all documents in order, my fiance sent his readiness and they responded with an interview date of October 19th. He had scheduled his medical for October 14th. Well, later he received a call from the consulate saying they needed to cancel his interview... he needed to have medical results in hand before he sent his readiness! This is the first we heard about that. I suggested he schedule medical as soon as he received his case number, but he thought he needed to wait for packet 3. Now we wait an additional at least 3 weeks :(.Just an FYI for anyone else going through Dublin. Schedule your medical as soon as you get to NVC, because DUB does not even require the case number to schedule it. Just keep in mind the medical is now only good for 6 months there.

  8. I am getting ready to fill out my I-134 form, but I am a little confused on what evidence to supply. I make well above the poverty line in a job I have had for over 17 years. I was going to supply my last years tax return, along with a letter from my employer, and some recent pay stubs. Is this sufficient? I see that in some cases you need to supply a letter from your bank and evidence of deposits, etc, but I remember reading somewhere that is only in the case of being borderline on the income requirement. Can anyone clarify?

  9. I'm starting to get nervous, got my case number last Thursday, and my petition still is at NVC. Anyone know what can potentially be holding it up? Those of you who have been sent to embassy already, how many days did it take? I've heard that NVC sends to a particular embassy once a week, so hopefully it's Thursday for Dublin, as that can be the explanation .

  10. I have been following visa journey and immifairy still, and it upsets me to see so few approvals while so many still waiting. What is going on at TSC the last week or so?? They should make I129-F apps a priority to finish, you would think they would now that they are almost there. I consider myself very lucky and know that it is somewhat a lottery of sorts on who gets approved when. Hope they pick up the pace next week and you all hear something soon. Finally was able to get through to NVC today, and got a case number. Only about 2 weeks since NOA2, things seem to move much faster now that we are out of the TSC hellhole.

  11. Hoping that our March 2015 NOA2 friends are still reading.

Would those approved tell me if their I797 NOA1 (hard copy) agreed to the date you may have seen on the USCIS website? Mine does not. My hard copy says 3/17, the website at first said 3/17 (something I printed out shortly after 3/17), but now the website says 3/23. I spoke to an agent this morning who said his system says 3/17, and I asked why on USCIS.com I have a receipt that says 3/23 and in case history it says 3/17? He said that its not uncommon for that to happen, something after I hung up with him made no sense to me. Thus, my question if others experienced conflicts like I'm referring to above.

As my analytics guru pointed out (you know who you are) my sequencing number (the first 9 digits) has receipts scattered over a two week period, while normally a sequencing runs a few consecutive days before the last four digits are exhausted and a new sequence is started.

Any help would be appreciated as I'm a mess. If it makes sense to post this on the larger forum as maybe someone else knows, please chime in as I'm a nervous wreck right now thinking that my file is now in purgatory (in Texas which is already hell) and I'm in line to be one of those 5% of petitions that sits around for months and months before someone finds it and says 'hey looky here, we missed this one.'

My received date was 3/3 and my notice date 3/5. As an immifairy member, I noticed they go by the "received" date. 3/3 was always what was on the USCIS website for me. I also noticed when I "stalked" other cases around my number, there were a few randoms that said for example, "on. April 22nd we received...." Or "on march 17...". This was confusing at first since they were all case numbers around mine. Then when I scrolled down and looked to the left of the page where it said "case history" I noticed it showed the "received" date as 3/3. The other date turned out to be when there was perhaps a change like an address change. Could this be what happened to you? If not, I wouldn't worry to much, just go by your received date. Immifairy was a big help to me... I could see when they started to work on others on my received date.

  12. We were approved last night at long last!!! I was just talking to my fiancee on Skype last night about an hour before we got notice, and telling her that the case before ours had been approved but that we shouldn't get our hopes up too much because it didn't necessarily mean anything, and that we might have to wait another couple of weeks for all we knew. Glad I was wrong!

SO glad that this part is over! Now I just have to review the next steps, it's been so long that I've forgotten most of it. :P

Best of luck to those still waiting! I hope that your turn comes very soon!

    Congratulations!! :)

  13. They are either some sort of expedite, or more likely people who filled out their timeline incorrectly. I would estimate at least 20% of filers that are actually at CSC think that because they sent their application to the LOCKBOX in Texas, they are in Texas. Rest assured, if you see an approval from Jun-August on Igor's list that says TSC, they are actually at CSC. I have sent a couple of them messages to fix their timeline, because it screws up the estimated processing time for the rest of us that are actually stuck in Texas.

  14. We received our NOA1 on March 29 (2015) so our K-1 application has been with USCIS for 5 months. Would we have received an RFE by now if more information was needed? Can I assume things are probably OK if we haven't heard from them by now? Our application went to the black hole in Texas.

I guess it would be good to know how long after the NOA1 did all of you receive the RFE.

Jess... TSC is a whole different animal, and while pretty much all of the March filers at CSC have been processed and most even have visas in hand, sadly less than 10% of March at TSC has been "touched" yet. So chances are, they won't even pick up your application for another few weeks. Hang in there, I know waiting sucks! I think I may have made a minor mistake on my app so I am praying I don't receive an RFE after waiting almost 6 months already!
