I am so sorry, I am just very intimidated by the NVC stuff. I read up the wiki's on it, but things seem to have changed. Do you know someplace i can get detailed information about this new process now?

Also, seems like we don't need to put the cover letter in there anymore?

Oh okay! So now I'm a bit confused. Because there's just one barcoded cover sheet, don't you need to make two different packages for AOS and IV and then put them in one shipping envelope and send it in?

How do we send the packages in? And, do we need to send in the proof of our relationship with the AOS? Also, do we need everything on the list? I mean, I know things like adoption certificates and stuff would not apply, but what about everything else? And do we send photocopies or originals?

Hi! So I had been thinking till now that you need to put the barcoded cover sheet that you print from the IV bill payment in the IV package. But ofcourse, that would inevitably delay sending the packages in. But then I read somewhere that you can just use the barcoded cover sheet from AOS Bill payment with the IV package too. That would save a few weeks of time so naturally it sounds like an awesome alternative. But is it true? Can anyone help me with this?

Also, they take 60 days to review the case from when they receive the package, right?

It may take 1 or 2 weeks....

I got approval from TSC on June 27 ....file sent to NVC on July 2 and received by NVC on July 10.

Calling the USCIS hasn't helped either. Any suggestions as to what I can do?

Should I call the NVC or should I just wait?

And does it ever happen that they send the case to NVC but don't update the case status on their website?

Hi guys! So our case got approved by Texas service center on 6th of July 2015. We haven't received any emails or text messages. They just updated it on their website. Anyways, can anyone tell me how long it will be before they send our case out to NVC?

Have you guys tried calling the USCIS? Because it totall worked for us. My husband called them twice on 6th of July. And then suddenly we got the approval the very same day. And I have seen that happen to so many people on this forum. So I would suggest calling everyday until you get approved. It helped in our case.

Hello guys! I am so disheartened now. Our priority date is Jan 21st and we still haven't gotten an approval yet. My husband called the USCIS today and they told him Texas was working on cases from Dec 2 still.

Does anyone know what is going on? Are we the only ones who haven't gotten an approval by now? We are so tired now.

Yesterday I saw that TX was processing cases for 2nd November. And now it says 27th October. Very frustrating.

And why is TX this slow?!!??!?! whereas everyone at California is getting their NOA2s in just a few weeks!

Yes, I am also wondering what Shanelle is. Why does the date keep on going back and forth? There was a time when it was showing November for Texas. Now its back to October. What is up with that?

Hi! I got my NOA1 on 21st of January 2015 but since then we haven't heard anything! I keep on checking the USCIS case status, but it hasn't changed. It has been saying "Your Case Was Recieved". Does anyone know if the case statuses do change? or do they just changed from recieved to approved? should i keep on checking the case status? because it is depressing!

Also the estimated time on my timeline keeps on getting pushed back! what is up with that?! Tired already. I think the USCIS part is the worst.

Have any of the January filers heard anything?
