I have case tracker USCIS app on my phone and saw status change on 27 January (it only said that the interview is scheduled for March 4. In 3 days after that I received letter with all other details (address, documents, time of appointment etc).

My AOS interview is scheduled for 4 March at Santa Ana. No sign of EAD/AP yet

Today my status for I 485 changed to Ready for interview. Yeah!!!!!

thank you guys for moral support! I was quite a nervous wreck earlier today Called my mom who talked me down - she said it was already over, nothing to be done, so no reason to obsess about it anymore, just go try a walk-in tomorrow. While my head is still spinning in circles all around my head!

I will make sure to report back with whatever happened! I am crossing all my fingers they will be nice to me and be able to fit me in.

@Babushka: 18 more days to my driving test! MA is nice in that they do give K-1s a licence even before EAD. Thank God! Just took forever to get an appointment.

How much longer do you have? Do you have to wait for EAD?

That's right - no phones in the building. My husband had to go outside to check his work emails while we were waiting.

You are lucky in MA! In California license expires with expiration date on I-94. So waiting for EAD now to extend my learners permit and take behind-the-wheel test.

Yeah, I know that. I could have made it had I known that was my date and time, that's what irks me the most.

I did search the forums here on vj and others seem to have successfully done walk ins and rescheduling after missed appointments, that calms me down just a little bit. Would have gone today right as I found out two hours ago, but husband cant take time off work because of meetings and I have no car to go. So have to wait for tomorrow. *ahhhhhhh* goes my poor head, as you can imagine lol

Good luck for tomorrow! I had my appointment on Monday and it seemed that they didn't even look at the date of the appointment. Hopefully you will get it done easily.

I am in similar situation having to wait for my husband to take me to places as I have no US driving license.

Hello everyone!! Sorry that been disappeared.. Between Christmas preparing and the holidays been kinda busy!

but came to share my happiness that I received my 3 NOA1 text messages yesterday! Was worried because either the email or the txts said for "I-765" but three case numbers... But, Nope! got them!! best New Year present that I could ever had!! Waiting very excited about the actual letters now!!

Does it come with the biometrics appt on the letter? or do I get notified afterwards?

Just wanted to let everyone know, the I-797c (noa1) is not the same as the I-797 (noa2). Until you have a I-797 or a work permit, they can't do anything for you if yourlande i94 is expired. ))))

Us too. Ours received on December 10th. I just have terrible visions of that package back in my mailbox. All squished and mangled from being jambed back in our tiny apartment box - all the work to keep the pages nice and straight, ruined! Then, I open the package (which isn't too hard because the cardboard is nearly deteriorated as if it has been in the desert sun for 50 days) and I find a rejection letter because his name is wrong. I look through the pages and all the tabs, but one thing is missing....the filing fees! They kept the filing fees! Dejected, I fall to my knees and fight back tears as we need to start all over again; waiting another two weeks for a pay period in which I devote over 45 hours paying for all the filing fees again.....

Then I shake off those thoughts and think to myself, "Just wait one more day.... Maybe tonight...."

Don't worry yet. I got my texts notifications 11 days after filing and hard copies only today.

Got all hard copies NOA 1 in the mail today now waiting for biometrics appointment

I wonder how much Christmas holidays might slow things down?

I'ts actually a good thing being distracted by the holiday season though- I'm much more relaxed about AOS than the K1 waiting game.

Love being destructed by the holidays especially there is nothing else to do but wait at this point

Got my NOA texts and emails on Sunday 9.28 pm didn't expect it at all at that time but definitely happy

Sent AOS package on December 2nd, delivered on December 4th. No NOA1 yet

I was thinking at the same amount of days because it's in California and we are adjudicate at California service center so it's in the area...I hope with all my heart that everything will be ok I miss my fiancé so much...thank u for everything

I hope it's just that, after the notification from application that notify u for RFE how long it took to the hard copy of RFE to be in mailbox at your fiancé ?

I don't remember exact amount of days but not long - about 2-3 days

I just recive my RFE in my application I wait the recipe to come in the mailbox to my fiancé to see what is missing etc, but I remembered that just my fiancé write a letter of intend to marry within 90 days etc I didn't write any letter , so maybe this is the reason ? We need both of us to have the letter of intend ?

Yes, we did the same mistake of including letter of intent from petitioner only with the original packet and got RFE for that. Definitely both letters are required

We had an RFE for the same reason (forgot to include beneficiaries letter of intent to the I-129F package). We just sent a scanned copy of letter of intent and it was sufficient, got approval without further RFEs.

Lol...I wish the NHS covered this!
