Personal Check Cashed finally!!
For anyone interested in timeline..
Mailed 01.17 Delivered 01.19 to Vermont. And check cashed today 01.26.No check images as I assume they use info from check to cash not check directly.
Memo on the transaction mentions "vsc field office and bunch of numbers". Not sure if that's case number.
Great it's moving!
I can see check image on mine... not that it really matters

Hi Guys,
I'm pretty glad because i'm seeing a lot of approvals (EAD)... My daughter got her approval last Feb 29 and today we received the official letter, my only concern is, Today at 6.35pm received a text that my I-485 and I-130 were approved... (This is an AOS for my daughter who is a minor) I'm wondering if is something wrong because we thought the next step was the interview....
Do they interview minors? Or not.... I don't know if I should be happy or not hahahaha just wanted to make sure this is real before telling her something.
What do you guys think?
Congratulations your daughter got approved without interview. My 17 year old son had to go with me to the interview and was asked some questions too. It was all quite friendly and in a chat-like manor

Awesome! Look how filled out your timeline is!!! Yay! My husband and I were looking at all our bubbles and remembering our beginning!
Yes, it's been quite a journey! It's funny to see only 2 application forms left to complete after AOS.

Got approved today after AOS interview. Can't wait to receive my 2 year GC and relax till removal of conditions

Hi All!
We got approved for my husband's EAD/AP yesterday, both AP and EAD dated for 2/24/2016. No text, no email, no notification, just found out visa the case tracker app this morning. It just says it was approved and they will mail his approval notice. Never say anything about card being produced or mailed. Should we expect an update with that, or maybe just wait for the combo card in the mail within the next week or so?
Thanks!
Congratulations!
Next you should see updates when card is being produced and mailed to you with tracking number

Received EAD card yesterday by priority mail (1 week after approval)

We got an update from our RFIE Finally. We submitted back what they asked around the beginning of this month.
Today they gave us an update saying ready to be scheduled for an interview, and we will be sent a notice with an interview date.
Does anyone know how long it takes to get this notice?
My status was updated in a week from Ready to be Scheduled for Interview to Interview Is Scheduled. In about 3 days I received letter with interview time and other details

I had a permit for 61 days. Was a long as the CA DMV would give me based on my I-94. Grumble.
I had my permit for about 2 months before it expired in December. Can't wait to get back to driving now

Congratulations! Well done guys!

Congratulations to those who had good news recently and best wishes to those still in the waiting game!
I was surprised today to see my statuses for I-131 and I-765 changed to Case Was Approved and New Card Is Being Produced. This makes me very happy!
-
Ead card is being produced. yay
First time I have used this site in a while. i'll get my timeline updated asap
(they received our rfie on the 31st of december)
Congratulations! Are you December filer?

I have been trying to crack the 'USCIS case number code' when work is slow and I have met with some success. This has allowed me to make a spreadsheet of come MSC cases that seem to revolve around family petitions/AOS. I have a variety of date ranges (because my date experiments brought me these case numbers) and the cases that I have that were received October 20th-30th have been overwhelmingly "touched" with the majority of EAD's approved in January.
The VJ estimate is that EAD cases received about November 24th are currently being worked on, given the estimates. I have a list of about 91 cases, which includes about 50 of these cases being valid (open) EAD cases. Well, there has been much activity this week and November 25th seems to have been the last day of November 2015 worked given the holiday. So, of these 50 EAD cases, about 16 of these have been approved.
Compared to my other date range samples, my case list from November 25, 2015 has a lot more EAD cases. I don't know if this will affect us December filers. I don't know if this will cause a bit of a back log for us, if this is just an abnormality in my sample, or if these cases will have no bearing on our team being processed at all. At any rate, I think the VJ estimates are pretty darn close to what is happening. Some are being processed faster and some are being processed slower, but it's a pretty good average in my opinion.
What an extensive research. I hope USCIS will start working on December filers tomorrow.

Today my interview was schedule for March 14th.
No email/text notification.
Congrats!

Our status for i-485 changed to RFIE today!! Now waiting for the mail to see what was missing!!
Oh, no! I thought December filers are done with RFIEs!

I was a late December filer, and my status changed just this morning on the AOS to "ready to be scheduled for interview". Our timeline:
Applying from: San Jose
Package Received: December 23rd
NOA Hardcopy Received: Early January
Biometrics Letter Received: Mid January
Biometrics Completed: January 29th
Status Changed online for AOS to Ready for Interview: February 11
Still no word on EAD, which surprises me. I thought I saw in another thread, someone who's status changed to "Interview", but then later was canceled and approved for both EAD and AOS (seemingly when that part of the file was opened)? Am I imagining this or does this happen sometimes?
Anyways, does anyone know how long it takes to schedule an interview, and from then, how long it would take to (hopefully) receive the GC?
This might be a good sign depending how fast your interview will be scheduled. Sometimes it takes months to schedule an interview but hope yours will be fast.
I have similar timeline, but I filed early December. On January 20th my status changed to Ready to be scheduled for interview . On January 27th it changed again to Interview is Scheduled for March 4.

OK so I wake up this morning and look online at our status at USCIS.
I SEE WE HAVE A CHANGED DATE!!! YEA!!!!
This is what it said for our I-765 EAD Application
WHAT!!! DENIED!! WHY????
Then I notice a second one of our filings, the I-485application for our Green Card was also touched.
Here is what it said:
IS IT POSSIBLE WE GOT HIT BY LIGHTNING? A GREEN CARD IS ON THE WAY ????? NO INTERVIEW, NO NOTICE, APPROVAL IN 57 DAYS??
Our third filing for AP has not been touched.
Holding our breath running to the mailbox each day.......
Soooooo fast!! Congratulations!!

My I-485 case changed to Ready for Interview today !
Awesome!
-
Any idea on your AP/EAD status? Or would they become moot with your GC looking like a mid March issue?
Ap/EAD status is still showing Case was received. But I am hoping to receive my combo card in February so I could pass my driving test asap
-
Cool beans, so it did actually update online.
Yes. Your timeline looks similar to mine and you are in CA, you might see Ready for Interview soon too
