-

a few days ago there were a JUNE filer approval .Just find out that is a NPIW case.
-
well we received an RFE today for Vaccination records and more proof of marriage, i.e. joint bank statements, tax return, etc. The letter came from the Sacramento office.
It is very annoying that they sent out RFE after so long waiting .Hope you get approved right after you submit those proof.
-
Just gotta call from Officer Jennifer Ramirez at the USCIS Field Services Office in Imperial CA. SHe said she was looking at our file and could not find our marriage certificate (you gotta be kidding). She said to FAX it and she would adjudicate today...Wow after all the bad things I said about USCIS, they could have just RFE'ed us and taken 2 more weeks...
Keep ya posted....
happy for you

Look at this guys, Nlhernan he is in your area!! Just like a miracle really! http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/542481-documentary-project/?p=7544056
this link can't be found anymore .What did you read ?

I saw that June filer approval yesterday. Are we sure it was a NPIW case? I only looked quickly but couldn't see that it was at first glance.
Someone in this thread said that one is a NPIW case .But the person who got approved didn't show NPIW on the timeline .I don't know
-
we pretty much same time frame, i filed on June 10th. received PIW letter on sep 10th. no new since then. send 1st status request on march 11th. hear nothing still. what is ombudsman you guys talking about? anyone in same time frame with us got approved latey
You can find ombudsman on USCIS.GOV ,there is a form to file with them so they can look into your case and see why it is outside normal processing time and maybe help a little bit .I saw one approval on JUNE filer
-
This is UNTRUE! Just because the OMBUDSMAN took over a month with Natonstan, doesnt necessarily mean that it will take that time with any one else!
Natonstan was NOT over processing time when he contacted the OMBUDSMAN, so they wouldn't have been able to do much with his request until he was outside of the processing times!
The mean average if you look at people's old posts that have contacted the OMBUDSMAN is around 3 weeks, can take up to 60 days but normally they conclude it before this date.
Obviously if you don't hear within the 60 days they state (probably state this as a matter of course, so they don't get dozens of complaints) then you need to contact them to remind them.
Great.I didn't want to wait 45 or 60 days for a reply .If your words come true with my case ,I will be very happy.

Yea, I seem to be. My NOA date is June 17th and my local office is working on cases from august 10th or so. So yea, quite a bit behind. I'm waiting on response to a SR, dated the 16th of march, and a form filled out for the ombudsman which I sent Friday the 20th.
we have similar timeline ,My NOA date is JUNE 5th,and I just filled with ombudsman today .

I'm adjusting from K-1 visa with I-485, I applied in June, 2014 and got waiver letter in september 2014. yes i do check my status with MSC....
I met the same problem ,but not with the receipt number of GC but the receipt number of my EAD. For like two or three months ,everytime I check my status of my EAD with the RIGHT receipt number ,it always told me my case can't be found ,my number is wrong . I thought if I waited it might change .So I waited for 2 or 3 months until I realize it never change and everyone else have gotten EAD except me .I called USCIS and they promise to call back and look up my case for me but they never called back .So I called again and they had me spoke to tier 2 about my wired status .A few days after that ,my case status changed to normal which means I can find it on USCIS website. So I personally think your case status is abnormal too just like mine before .And it delayed my process because in that first few months when I couldn't find my case status,no action was taken about my case .It ended up taking 5 months for me to get my EAD

Thank you so much! The AOS thread is exactly what I was looking for.
Hi.Can I ask you how to get a new medical ? I know it is to find a civil surgeon ,then what ? Do you just redo all the exam there ? DO you have to re get all the shots again ? I got several shots at doctor when I did the medical first time .My medical is about to expire soon

Gotta tell you I'm torked with my Senator's office. I talked with them on Tuesday and have heard nothing from them. I called them again today, but no one is around today to help.
Can anyone say, USELESS....
12 - 24 months for approval, eh? No one approved before 11 months, eh? Can anyone else hear more disinformation here?
there is one named KVE on 40th page that his case seems quicker than most of people here .But I am not sure what he did to speed case up .I am just saying there is quicker ones but not me or you

So I have just received an update from Ombudsman regarding my inquiry. Overall it took about 2 weeks for them to respond. And apparently Ombudsman has nothing to do with my approval
Dear Sir/Madam,
The Ombudsman’s Office has determined that USCIS recently issued a decision regarding the application or petition referenced in your request for assistance. Your I-485 was approved 3-20-2015. If you do not receive the decision notice within 15 days, please contact USCIS at 1-800-375-5283.
Since USCIS has issued a decision, our office will be closing this inquiry.
Thank you for giving the Ombudsman’s Office the opportunity to assist you.
Sincerely,
congrats

Checked my AOS case status online last night and found this:
On March 23, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxx. Please follow the instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by May 22, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later.
Wow.This news is great as all I see is approval of March filers .Congrats .Wish you pass down this good luck on us

March 16th 2015: 10:04AM I got this email:
Good afternoon,
The Ombudsman's Office has reviewed your submission and contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regarding your case.
Please be advised that in certain cases, it may take up to 60 days to receive a response to our inquiry. We will notify you when we receive information from USCIS.
If your circumstances have changed substantially, you may contact us at cisombudsman@hq.dhs.gov and reference your unique submission number 2XXXXX3.
Sincerely,
Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman
My application was then approved
Then on the 17th at 12:58PM I received:
Dear Sir,
USCIS has indicated that it is actively reviewing the application or petition referenced in your inquiry and should issue a decision in this case within 30 days.
Please inform the Ombudsman at cisombudsman@HQ.DHS.GOV if you do not receive correspondence from USCIS within 45 days. Because USCIS has taken action, our office will be closing this matter.
Thank you for giving the Ombudsman’s Office the opportunity to assist you.
Then an hour later on the 17th at 1:36PM I got:
This message serves as an update to the email sent by the Ombudsman’s Office earlier today, March 17, 2015. USCIS has indicated that it recently issued a decision regarding the application or petition referenced in your request for assistance. If you do not receive the decision notice within 15 days, please contact USCIS at 1-800-375-5283.

Thank you .So in your case Ombudsman did help some .Wish I would have done this in January too . Now I am facing a long wait for their response.

you applied in last April ,so it has been a whole year for you .I can't believe they said they can't do anything about yours .That is insane .Even if things go like USCIS claimed that it will take 9-12 months to get GC since your NOA date ,you already passed that .Did you try to contact congressman or ombudsman ?
