Hello everyone. Just an update that my husband's I-551 arrived today! We were approved without an interview and only a few weeks after his EAD/AP arrived! Our total AOS time frame was 108 days. A lot has happened within the past year, and I wouldn't trade any of it for the world! Now our ROC will be due before March 2018! March seems to be a reoccurring month in our immigration journey! I hope everyone is well!!

My fiancee and her daughter POE was Seattle this morning. The officer only explained what a K1 visa was and was very nice......... They will arrive here tonight

I feel the pain from the TCS watching and seeing one's like me fly right threw so fast.

I agree with you. I did not use a lawyer or I am sure I would had been told the same as you. And I never have told her she is going to get one. I said the odds are low. I just wanted her to know it is possible and will not effect her K1 visa:) And I never gave a false hope to her. I just said you do have hope. Just don't have your hopes up to high. I knew many people, that have never tried would believe they were experts on this....... Happy you found some people that actually did it Once my fiancee got her visa, the support group on QQ that she was on just said she was lucky. It is just fine for people to disagree, as long as they keep it positive

I believe she asked for opinions and experiences from people that have done this. And I believe this is a support group. The DS-160 form will need to be done anyway. Starting October 2013 K visa are required. I think most people on here that have the money to visit are doing so. This is not a crime. And I wish all the best of luck on the journey:)

My fiancee is in a QQ group thats named "Chinese woman in USA". They told her how stupid she was for doing this. That is impossible. I even thought it could harm the K1 or both. We might have had 100 to 1 odds, but her interview was simple and easy. And she told them at the embassy, what couple that is about to get married does not want to be together when ever possible.
