  1. Done and approved.

Got there at about 8am and was called in at 8.15am. The officer first started with my I-751 extreme hardship waiver. I was fretting about that but he asked very simple questions on it. Just about my prior marriage and whether I was circumventing the NTA I received by filing extreme hardship waiver. (I had been denied in 2011 and received an NTA) I told him I filed it based on the facts in the file and I was within my rights to file a hardship waiver if I have enough evidence and anytime before my NTA is filed in court. The NTA was never filed. He smiled and said that was true. He then said it looks good and we moved to the N400 which was approved as well.

yeaayyyy mananto, congratulationsssssssssssss i'm so happy for you!!

you received the deny in 2011 and you just passed the interview so you were waiting for 5 years, i'm just concern because i received the deny in june 2015, now it's been one year i'm still waiting for the immigration court and i didn't hear anything from them.

also what document did you present to renew your driver license? and also for the work authorization?

last question please: for the citizenship when did you apply before you complete 5 years or after?

thanks in advance and congratulations one more time!

  2. First of all you have to see an immigration lawyer as soon as possible. don't wait for interview, they send you for interview after RFE, but once the application is denied, the case is transfered to the immigration court. it may take months to schedule an appointment in front of judge. don't leave the country before you fix your status, now it's like you're on deportation process.

    good luck!

  3. it's really interesting subjet i hope we get more comments and advices; after my experience that i'm still in process; the university asked me for original diploma plus the transcripts with the translation that they should be sent from my institution over seas, now i'm waiting for the syllabus that should be also be sent from my previous institution so they can evaluate my previous courses and i don't have to take them again; hope my experience helps like i said i'm not done yet i'm still in process.
