you can make appointement and get you I551 one more year extension so you can travel and also let someone check your mail during travel maybe they ask for RFE or interview

good luck

one year from the date of the letter that you received
you can get appointment at any office of the uscis you need appointment they don't accept walk in
good luck and hope your receive your new green card soon before the extention expired
-
in my opinion why you don't wait till you receive you green card for 10 years and then get divorce now is more easier and faster to get your green card than you apply for remove condition self petition it's a long path

I am still pending case of my i-751 and
I already responded my rfe. this monday the uscis received my file. (Usps told me)
so .... Feb 3rd I went to infopass to get i-551stamp. Yeah I got it and I went to 3rd biometrics ( we did rescheduled 3 times for vsc and csc biometrics it was a problem because we transferred from local to csc. And last biometrics I just took a pic again thats all no fingerprints)
My case sits on csc office I am currently waiting for hearing good news asap... uscis officer told me that wait 1 or 2 weeks more.... and I will.
we are on the same boat hhhhhh i think they told same thing to every one; wait for two weeks

did any one get green card after I751 remove condition
i was looking for 52 pages it's too long i can't find any one has a response
-
How long does it take to get any response after doing biometric? Good luck everyone.
for CSC it took 3 months after biometric and they sent me RFE
-
Thank you for providing me with these details. I hope they give me a chance to interview before they deny my case. Lets us know when you get approved. Good luck!
impossible to deny your case from the first time; after biometric they ask you for more evidence RFE after that first interview and second and then the worst case is deportation but they gave you a multiple chance
be confident you're be ok and you receive your green card without all this process

Hello friends,
I am waiver filer too. My case is a bit harder because my wife and I were living apart even while we were married. She was going to college in a different city. My application was sent to Vermont center by my attorney in Septermber, 2014. It was supposed to go to CSC but my attorney mistakenly sent it to Vermont center. I did my biometric in October and still waiting to hear from them. Here is the list of evidence that I submitted.
- Few pictures (I have many pictures but my attorney said I need to send only a few)
- Several plane tickets of trips that we took to see eachother
- Joint bank account statements
- Joint income tax returns for the past 3 years
- Joint car loan
- Joint medical insurance
- Several medical bills for her that my insurance paid
- Records of thousands of facebook messages and emails that I sent her over the years from when we started dating to the time we got married
- 5 affidavits from her close relatives and mu friends attesting that our marriage was in good faith
Here is my story in a bit more detail for anyone interested. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/534976-badly-need-advice/
Good luck everyone!!
When was your interview? How did it go?
my interview was on 1.22.2015
it wasn't that bad i was there with my lawyer it was about 20 min but with the stress it looked like 20 hours
the officer asked me about my ex Relationship: when and where we met , marriage date, divorce date ,how it was the relation, why turn it to divorce; some questions about his work and my work and if i wanna add some other information
anyway the interview is a good opportunity to more explain your situation
good luck
-
Thank you all for your kind words! Katiana, good luck with your green-card process!
thank you, same to you
-
i have one question please to who passed the interview
they took back the expired green card or no?
for my case the officer just looked at it and said you can keep it
-
I received an interview notice for February 12th at 9:30am in St Albans, VT.
The letter said "You and your spouse" must attend. Obviously i dont have a spouse any more so can i go alone? I called and tier 1 didn't have any more information on it than i did and tier 2 was out for the rest of the day due to the storm coming in. They put in a service request with my question but they probably wont get back to me in time.
don't worry about this phrase it's like same letter they sent it to everyone; so you can go alone
ggod luck
hi every body
i"m new on this forum i applied for I751 self petition
so i passed recently the interview and i", still waiting
-
hi every body
thank you so much for sharing your toughts
don't worry brother; i understand you concern; this lauwyer is not allowed to tell you this thing; i think he just need more money but don't give him more
you have enough proufs than i did; i have been together with my ex husband only for three months and i got divorce; i applied for I751 and i m still waiting
anyway be confident your file wille be approved
now you have to wait for biometric appointment and then interview so you get the chance to explain your situation in front of the immigartion officer
stay positive and it's gonna be allright
good luck
