I did read that. Probably applies to a different kind of petition. Like K1 Visa doesn't guarantee admission to the US, still up to the discretion of IO upon entry to the States. They just used the same notes on the back page for all NOA.

The staff wouldn't know anything about the next process. You asked if we're receiving any notices after the biometrics and the next process would be to see if we're gonna get an interview or not and if we're approved for the 10 yr gc or not.

Thank you for all the response. I was trying to explain to a family member that it is required for LPR to have a valid green card at all times. Maybe I'll show him this and he will believe me.

Can someone please tell me the consequences of having an expired green card? I know it is required for LPR to carry their green card at all times. Can a LPR get arrested for having an expired green card?

Anyhow, if you look at the dates between NOA and Biometrics Letter Received, it takes the VSC 3-4 weeks to set up a biometrics date.

Try to double check the receipt number you're inputting. Wow, two years is a long wait.

It is in your discretion to notarize the copies; I did have the copy of my marriage certificate notarized. You can go to your local bank and they should be able to notarize the copies for free.
