Applied @ a local library February 25th.

Passports in processing March 3rd.

Passport Delivered March 19.

congrats to those who got naturalized recently.. I have a question for you all - do you sign the naturalization certificate in black or blue ink. I am completely confused; vaguely remember blue but so lost.. I do remember them saying - don’t use the other else you make your certificate invalid and it costs like $550 to get a new one.. help appreciated

Passed my interview today at phoenix office.. 

process was quick :

reading , writing and 6 civics questions and the only extra discussion was my plans for the weekend and how long was my way to the center .

Reading : who lives in the White House ?

writing : the president lives in the White House .

questions: 

1. what was the main reason for civil war? 
2. what is the first president of USA ?

3. why did the colonists came to America? 

4.Who is the current president ? 
5. what movement tried to end racial discrimination ? 
6. when is the last day to send in your income tax forms?

Now waiting for oath . They do oaths every hour in groups of 12 people.

I applied May 17 2020 online. Phoenix office. I have heard or seen nothing since receiving my "receipt" notice back in May 2020. Nothing new in the myUSCIS site. No biometrics notices at all. Nothing in the "documents" tab in myUSCIS. Nothing.   myUSCIS completion date still says May 2021 (haha!).

I would suggest to call uscis office and ask . Mu spouse and I applied in July and as of yesterday my office is already a citizen . My interview is in 2 weeks. Phoenix office. I also know of few others of our close friends that applied after July and are already scheduled for interviews . Good luck

About 4:30 this morning I got a notification from the old app that the interview was scheduled yesterday for my husband. Estimated completion date has been January 2021 pretty much the whole time. We applied May 22 here in Oklahoma City. Not sure the date yet ad we have not checked online nor have we received the letter obviously. We received biometric reuse notice December 17 I think it was (sorry baby has caused sleep deprivation so I can’t remember exactly). Will update when we find out scheduled date

Uscis cancelled all appointments for Jan 19/20 .. sorry if you are one of them , just posting what I received in my email today

Ps: I had my Biometrics taken last year February 2020 as part of I751 application

Expect the interview notice to be uploaded under documents tab by the morning  or in a day. I got mine the next morning so I know the date and still waiting for physical notice 

One more thing I have noticed that once your case is in moving stage your name on profile will start showing NMN in middle ( if you don’t have a middle name). This happened to both my n spouse case just 1-2 days before we got bio reuse notification . NMN stands for no middle name

Boy .. bitching helps.. i just got interview scheduled notification.. now waiting for letter containing actual date .. but normally it is 5 weeks from what I am reading ..

Bitching helps in 2 ways !!!! Makes you calm and gets you notification .. lol.. all the best 

I think the estimated time is driven by local office processing time.. our case estimated compltion was July 2021 then went to sept 2021 (14 months) and now it’s May 2021(11months) which is kind of in line with phoenix processing times on both occasions .

Fyi we filed in July 2020

I read on this forum that usually 90 days after ASC having reopened during COVID , for phoenix they opened on 20 July so you can send an SR request .. but don’t count too much on SR - coz my SR still shows ‘ bit assigned to an officer for review’ I would suggest call uscis and trouble them a bit ..
