She can’t work due for her age issues so she won’t be able to make any money and I have to take care of her financially can I add her as dependent on my tax returns?

Did the consulate request an updated I864 when the interview was conducted?

They are asking for same old I864 and joint sponsor tax returns but I made enough money last year to sponsor by self I don’t need a joint sponsor but embassy refused to listen from my mother is there any way to update my income and i864ez ?

  3. Hi Everyone,

I do have a question its for someone i know the guy come here on K1 visa and married to his USC fiancé its been over 2 years of their marriage also his green card fixing to expire in May 2021, now his USC wife wants divorce due to both are not happy in relationship, since USC wants divorce is that ok for the guy to sign on papers, the guy wants to stay in US does not wants to go back to his home county since he is in US he has job and mortgage car etc, he settled here its not easy now for him to move back and find a job specially in COVID-19 situation. can someone advice what this guy needs to do in-order to save his GC or renew its condition without any hardship or deportation also does he need any lawyer ?? please advice what's best option of possibility he has in his situation.

IR5 is not included under exemptions and therefore suspended until end of the year.

that what i was wondering how stupid that decision is to BAN family petitions why would my mom come to US to find a job that does not make any sense also since i am the primary sponsor talking about finance wise then why would govt worry about my or my family job issues i can understand about skill workers or H1B etc visa but its absolutely rubbish to ban family visas too

Trump has been trying to limit family-based green cards for a while. He has aggressively enforced the public charge law, adding requirements such as age, education, skills, health insurance, which, of course, puts thousands of elder people as your parents and mine at risk of being denied their visas. There is so much discrimination in this whole public charge rule that I cannot wrap my head around it. He even at some point, I believe, proposed to permanently stop issuing green cards to parents and siblings of a USC. IMO, this EO has nothing to do with protecting US job market. Instead, Trump has used this pandemic as an opportunity for him to pursue his restrictive immigration policy. I am infuriated but not surprised that he has done that though.

Ur right well it’s all bull goin on

I submitted docs on June 15 and got DC for both of my parents in about 12 hours! It was insanely fast and so unexpected. I thought our visa category was not prioritized. We will have to wait for a long time for the interview though due to the backlog and current EO.

Very lucky when I called they said wait until trump left the ban so question is did he left the ban ?

NVC is currently reviewing submissions from March 6th so no, there’s no need to worry. They’re also stating that they give cases whose visas are not suspended preference, and I believe IR5 is a suspended category so just be patient and wait for your turn.

I don’t recall a “needs to submitted by mail blah blah” standard message. Do you mean in your inbox? Or do you mean the “don’t submit anything by mail”?

Yeah you are right i called today NVC to see if i am missing any documents operator said nothing require from my end and my file on review process once ban will left they will process further :)

  8. Hi, I uploaded all documents included Evidence etc on May 17th it’s been 30 days no DQ yet should I worry about it or call NVC to check. They were so fast at the beginning they sent me invoice ID etc in one shoot now they are kind of dead lol anyways I filed for IR5 petition.
ALSO on ceac status shows documents needs to submitted by mail blah blah is that standard msg?

    please advice TIA
